Gonna be almost 60 here today and I'll be outside getting some fresh air and sunshine, too!

G'morn ~ We are creeping into the 50s for about 5 days ... still tons of snow on the ground tho. My flowers are truly peeking thru that soil which does give me a spurt for spring.

Have a beautiful weekend.
Hugs, Marydon

Your flowers are pretty even with frost on them. I know you are anxious to work that soil!

I'm in southern IL and it's supposed to get to 56 today! I am so hoping it does. Lots of sunshine. It will be a good day to walk the garden and see what's popping up. No frost here this AM, though. :) ~~Rhonda

Same here. I've already been outside this morning moving some dormant shrubs around the yard. There's a lot more I'd like to be doing, but the seedlings just aren't ready yet. Maybe next Sunday, I can start planting out my wintersown babies. I'm already envisioning it, large swaths of color swaying in the summer breezes. Spring is coming. No, really!

We are right on the coast, so we haven't seen frost or temperatures in the twenties for a while now. Amazing how quickly the climate changes when you move inland.

Darla: Amazing, you are at the same temperature as I. We have a frosty start but will only go into the 40's. I also only see snow on the ground.

Darla... glad to have found your blog! We have been having very frosty nights in the single digits but the days are in the low 40's and it really feels like spring. I won't start up the greenhouse for another month, but I do love to bask in it's 85 degrees for awhile after my daily walks. I responded to your questions this morning at my blog... thanks, LC

Our weather is the same but high in the low 40's during the day. Love all the hints of what's to come! Jean

Hi Darla~~ Yes this is quite a disparity in temperatures. And it seems rather chilly for Florida. Happy gardening!

That is a huge temperature swing. We are getting highs in the 40's and lows in the 20's. Just enough to keep the mud freezing and thawing:)

We're having the exact same weather here -- frost in the morning and sun and '60's later in the day. The warm afternoons are wonderful.
