FF-- Practicing For GGW Photo Contest..

Don't have that much going on in the gardens this week...did a greenhouse update last Friday so today I'm showing Macro In A Mason Jar photography that I have been practicing for the monthly photo contest over at http://www.gardeninggonewild.com/?p=15262 .. for FF at http://tootsietime.blogspot.com/ I placed a Daisy that I received in my birthday bouquet on some Asparagus Fern foliage in the bottom of a mason jar. Placed the jar on three sheets of different colored paper..you are supposed to place your camera on the opening of the jar and take the photo.
A couple of African Daisy blooms from the greenhouse and Asparagus Fern on blue paper.
I cut two types of African Daisy blooms placed them in the bottom of the jar and placed the jar in the middle of some Liriope Grass.
Placed in the middle of some Purple Pansies.
Placed in some birdseed.
Then I placed the jar on top of a table lamp.
Dried Rooster Spur Peppers in the jar, jar on top of the table lamp.

I believe this is harder than I thought it would be. Each photo I take and look at I say to myself, "Self, you should have done this or that or what about this or that...." I'm having fun though and that's what really matters. Now drop by Tootsie's (link above) and see if anyone has anything blooming during this artic blast. Then if you are interested go over to GGW and check out the contest.

*Oh, you are supposed to link back to your blog post in your comment that shows the photo you are entering with a link to GGW, also a direct link to just the photo, how do I do that?*
