Dahlias From Seed - Bloomin' Tuesday

Here are some of the Dahlias I started from seed in February...thanks Lona! There are still a few Dahlias that haven't bloomed yet.

I still do not know how this Dahlia got here..I sure am enjoying it though. (yes those are onions behind it)

The Larkspur is starting it's show on the red brick castle wall. I have 5 Hydrangeas some Monarda and a very tall skinny white Butterfly bush in this area as well. Please ignore the HUGE very old container of Bromeliad, Queen's Tears in the back right..don't quite know what to do with it.

Darla, your garden is so gorgeous and adds a bright spot in our dreary day. I cannot believe how much color you have already. Just look at the garden show going on with those dahlias.

Wow! You have seed Dahlias blooming in April?! I start a bunch from seed every year, and mine are still tiny plants. I don't usually get flowers until August.

They're very pretty!

You have such great luck with seeds. I may need to take lessons! All the Dahlias are lovely but the soft pink is my favorite. Jean

Your dahlias look great. I especially like the very pale pink one with the golden center. One year I grew some dahlias from trade seeds and got just about every color of the rainbow ~ sadly, in spite of my efforts, I lost most over a winter. Time to grow more!

I have never done dahlias from seeds. I may try it next winter.
