I love poppies too - we have big pink ones that come up every year here. I didn't plant them but I sure look forward to their pretty blooms!

Lovely poppies! I wonder if those poppy seeds sold in supermart can be grown and come out as beautiful as yours. I think I will try to germinate them and see how...

They are SO pretty. I bought one plant and hope it takes here as I do like these. I've not had luck in the past.

Your header photos are so good. I always enjoy the variety.

Darla, your poppies are quite stunning! I love the contrast between the gray-green leaves and the riot of red flowers. I also like that you planted blue flowering plants close by. Nice composition!

Darla,

Looks like poppy heaven to me. Reminds me I got some free poppy seeds last year, where oh where did I put them?

I have three grown from seeds (not a good success rate). I have been amazed at how large they are, and now to see yours that are taller than a fence. Wow! No blooms on mine yet. Yours are very impressive, Darla. I'm wondering how long they last.

They are pretty. I received poppy seeds from a blogger friend in US. I am tempted to sow them but I know we are not allowed to grow poppies in Malaysia. So to date, it is still left unopened.

Those are nice looking poppies. That reminds me, I have some seeds for double poppies, or something like that. I need to check to see whether it's better to plant them in the dirt, or start them inside. I have some other seeds I need to be starting.
