Thank You..

It rained on and off all weekend. We received about 3 inches of rain on Friday and Saturday. I have not checked how much rainfall we received yesterday as it was still raining when I came in last evening. Thanks so much to each and everyone of you that held my son in your hearts and minds this past weekend. The funeral was yesterday afternoon and it was so, so sad. If you feel prompted, please continue to pray for my son, the girl's family and all the young people that this tragedy touched.

Today I am Thankful that God's mercies are new every morning.

I am very glad you got some rain. We actually drove through Florida last week and my I couldn't believe how much rain was there.

So very sorry for the loss of life that has touched you. It is always a tragedy when someone dies and so much more so when it is a young person.

I am so sorry for your son's loss--this is so shocking and he must be taking this so hard...It is truly awful...

Your table is amazing and I can't help thinking about a show that I heard the other night that talked about how after people pass away, often butterflies appear around people they loved...and here is your table filled with butterflies...xo Cindy

Darla,
I'm so very sorry to hear about the accident. I will keep your son in my thoughts as I am well aware of what grief can do to ones mind and body. It just seems so unfair...

Glad you got some rain! We've had a couple of showers. We had a gully washer blow through here one day that dropped 3.5" of rain in just a few hours.
Cute table!
I will definitely send up more prayers. So sorry this had to happen.

We never ever know what's ahead of us... and I'm sure that's the way it's supposed to be. We can only live (and handle) one day at a time.
Much sympathy in the midst of this sudden loss. May God continue to bless and care for each of you in your family and in your son's girlfriend's family. My your friends, church family and immediate family be so supportive and may you feel God's loving presence very near.

i too am sorry for your son's lost and i will pray for him specifically. i lost my brother and my dad within 4 months of each other - it was hard. people forget you still feel the loss later on, he is going to need you to be there for him for a while.
