Yep, he's making his rounds. Our first visit from him was yesterday morning. Guess he's gonna stay awhile. Okay, the verification word for me is "decon". Wish there was some of that to rid us of Jack Frost. tee hee
BRRRRR!!!!!! Sorry about not getting back to yah about those seeds. We had a critter break into the coop the other night and kill our beautiful Silky. Now we're just in a funk. :(
We're having a little chilly weather, but no frost. Really? Frost? What a difference a zone makes. I have several non-plant related projects planned for when the cold weather hits here. I sure hope I actually do them.
Whoa! That's awful. Definitely an unwelcome guest in November...or anytime in Florida. Please don't send him down this way.... These temps have been unreal the last couple days!
I'm surprised that you got frost before we did. We've had a couple of nights with temps below freezing, but no signs of frost yet. I doubt that won't last long. I hope your garden didn't suffer much damage.
Darla girl ... you would never make it as a Canuck .. hehehe That is sun tanning weather for us up here !! ;-) Joy PS my WV is "bonis" can I have one ? LOL
Hi Darla, well, what is this?? Frost? In your garden? Well, that is just not agreeing with me today; I always think of your garden and Jack Frost is never a part of my mental picture. I just can't see him bee-bopping around in your garden, send him packing back up nort' where he belongs! We know how to handle his antics.
I enjoyed all of your pictures. The flowers are all gorgeous and the photographer knows what she's doing. I knew Amanda was engaged, but didn't realized she'd already gotten married. Best wishes to the new couple. I'm sure you were busy getting ready for that memorable occasion. Good to see pics of your family. Hope you are doing well. Miss ya! Keep in touch. Mallory is 3 months pregnant. Blessings, Natalie Alday

Hope your flowers survived this frost! It was about 25 degrees here this morning and we had a huge frost!

That guy will get our blooms every time . And I am not ready for them to end. LOL
I had it on my roof this morning too! We enjoyed the soccer game even though we just about froze to death. I'm glad I remembered to take my ear muffs!
we had our first heavy frost last night too. brrr.
happy fall?

Gee, that looks cold Darla, and what a wonder of a Header too.
Yipes Darla..... Hope you didn't lose alot of your flowers.... Our temp. went down to 28--but no frost and no damage to our roses. We were shocked...
Hope it doesn't happen again tonight... It's supposed to get even colder here tonight--and then moderate...
Hugs,
Betsy
I don't believe it. Well I do because I know you wouldn't lie, Darla Dear but sheesh, what is going on here? I hope you warm up soon.

Have a nice day:)
WOW... these photos are unbelievable. Hang in there warm weather friend.
Yes, he stopped by here and when I sent him packing he came back anyway! But, it's warm again and the sun is shining! Beautiful header photo! gail
I remember last year when it got so cold there. Was it this early? That is the same temps we are having. I hope your flowers made it.
We haven't had a major one yet but it's been getting close.
