Header Challenge
As some of you know I have decided to join the Header Challenge with http://thefishingguy.blogspot.com and his posse. The topic of photo changes from week to week. This weeks challenge was a photo of berries. I was thinking that Dogwood Trees have berries. I have now learned that the flowering Dogwood Tree cornus florida actually has fruit not berries. The birds love them and they last throughout winter. Fun fact: The Flowering Dogwood Tree is the North Carolina State Flower. This photo was taken last evening after a rain shower. I do hope that this does not disqualify me as it's really a fruit and not a berry.

Darla: Not only are you not disqualified I think you win this weeks header challenge. What a great shot.
I 2nd that, yours is beautiful Darla, a close up shot+drops of water, what a beauty.
I knew you would be a force to reckon with.lol.
Well done.
Superb.. those tiny droplets of water really make the shot... If I had given it more thought I would have said fruit, seeds or berries... I am now looking forward to next weeks.

It's an excellent capture, and so far my favorite. But.... it's not a berry, though it seems none of the competitors care about that. One more to look at.
I believe it is stated in the header that this is not a photo of a berry!!
That is a great shot...I agree it's a winner! Love the new challenge. gail
Looks like you got the vote Darla, I said you would be a force to reckon with, lol.
Thanks for joining in the fun with us lot - The 3 musketeers.
Am back! That berry looks good to eat and I am not a bird. Well some may question that some may call me a bird brain.I think you have been a winner all along with your blog.

Love the header. Great photo. Happy Anniversary to you and hubby.
Neat challenge. I'm going over to check it out! :-)
What a great picture! I was wondering if my Dogwood was going to have fruit this year, but haven't seen any. I bet the birds love them!
I'm confused, but don't have time to read your comments to see if anyone thought of this, but a berry is a kind of fruit, isn't it? Not all fruits are berries, but berries are fruit. So, what is the difference? Those look like berries, lovely ones, to me!
I like all you blooms for Friday, too!
Oh, now, I'm realizing this wasn't the first of the challenges. So, this was the photo you won on. Well, it was a great one! What were the first 2 challenges?
