Bloomin' Tuesday...

So I don't get thrown out of the gardening loop, I'll take a break from posting wedding prep and show a few things still blooming in my gardens.

We are seeing so many butterflies and it is just beautiful to observe them fluttering from one flower to the next. I did capture the beautiful Buckeye, it always makes me think of Tom over at http://thefishingguy.blogspot.com .
The Narrow Leaf Zinnias have put on a wonderful display through our hot dry summer.

(oops, wedding mums) I do love this color.

Plumbago...can I prune this back? Is so, when?

It doesn't mind hot and dry conditions either.

The Sunburst Dahlia is still putting out blooms here and there.

Love the white tips.

Wedding Prep # 5 Guest Book Table

Just seeing how to arrange the table. I'm sure the Bride will let me know just how she wants it. A watermark of the Mums that we will be using for the wedding. Click on photo to enlarge and you can read the little poem.

I purchased a journal at the local drugstore and covered it to match the wedding. I hand stitched this little saying on the front.

I made this litte wood photo a couple of years ago of the Bride and Groom, burnt the edges and decoupaged it to a piece of wood that I stained.

She wanted a unique wedding with hand made items.....viola!
