Update on Dad and Plant ID Help..

My stubborn Dad woke at 1:30 Thursday morning with severe chest pains, numb arms, sweating....the whole nine yards for heart attack symptoms. Did he call anyone or 911? No. He waited until the walk in clinic opened at 8 a.m. and drove himself, right past my house I might add. He had a heart attack, was 2 units low on blood....In the ER he had a blood transfusion that almost caused him to drown to death, it filled up his lungs...He was finally given all the blood he needs only to find that he is still losing it..today more testing to find where he is bleeding, he also needs a heart cath. Keep Praying please..

Interesting how this Brug has two color blooms on it..it was a rooted piece I kept inside all winter.

I have two yellow Irises that have bloomed in the mist of the Root Beer ones.
Sedum--Angelina is blooming.
Nicotinia
Had no clue that Coral Reef Sedum blooms...
First Breadseed Poppy bloom, thanks Catherine at http://agardenerinprogress.blogspot.com
and many more to come.
My daughter planted wildflower seeds in this wagon last year...we thought we pulled them all up and then I saw a Black Eyed Susan leaf so I left it alone. Well we have this plant blooming..
It's going to have more blooms on the sides of this bloom.
The leaves are not as fuzzy as the BES leaves, these are more velvetly...any ideas? Phlox of some sort?

I do hope to visit all of you soon. I know I am missing so much!

Random Garden Photos..

See the pink Petunias? This was purchased last Spring as a striped Raspberry Blast Proven Winners Petunia. I cut it back during the winter, now the Petunia has reverted back to the single colors that were used to make the Raspberry Blast, interesting. The frog looks happy under the Coral Reef Sedum.
Really didn't know that Cornflowers grew so tall. Can they be cut back?
Alyssum has reseeded everywhere.
New this year, Henna Coleus, can be grown in sun or shade. I'm going to have fun with this one.
Here's your PPPP Gail from http://clayandlimestone.blogspot.com/ I love it!

Clematis Vines--this one is almost to the top of the Crape Mrytle Tree.
This one is growing up the pink Dogwood Tree.
Lattice
Mailbox
Ranunculus
I was surprised to find this color Ranunculus.
Baby House Wrens are growing---header photo is of the same birdies last Wednesday.

GBBD -- Two Gardens

Ms. Doris Three Doors Down got a new planter. Isn't it pretty?

Jacob's Ladder--with foliage like this who needs blooms?
Iris
Azaleas

She did it to me again this year. Her Callas are blooming and mine aren't even out of the soil yet.

A few things from my gardens.

My mailbox area.

What I'm thinking these days is about Kenny Chesney's song, "Don't Blink". The old man being interviewed about the secret to life. He says, "Don't blink, you might just miss your babies growing like mine did......" are the days moving by fast for you too?
