Hi Darla, so much beauty! I believe your mums are our beloved Sheffies, aka Sheffield Pink. That tell tale peachy pink and prolific habit are a dead giveaway. :-)

I can't believe it is the 15th either. Where does time go. You have so much blooming it still looks like summer there. Just lovely!

Too many different lantanas to know the name of that one Darla. But it's pretty.

Suppose to get real cool here this weekend. Now if we can just get the sun to shine!

I'm amazed your purple cone flowers are still blooming! Everthing looks beautiful. :)

What a pretty Lantana. Don't know the name but should have Lemons in the title.
Petunias are strange plants. It worked out well because you have three different ones now. Your Mexican Sage is so pretty Darla. I love the velvety or chenille looking blooms.

You definitely are not the only one Darla and I can't wait for the cool down either!

I can't believe it's mid October either. It's fun seeing what you still have blooming there, Petunias and coneflowers have been done for awhile now.
The Mexican bush sage sure is popular with the butterflies.

I was just as surprised it was GBBD as you Darla! And what timing - looks like you just left a comment on my post as I'm leaving one on yours. Your mums look like they'll be gorgeous soon. And it also looks like you've got the same butterflies on the same plants as I do!

I was sick midday yesterday when I heard we were getting sleet & colder than predicted temps ... so I am running around pulling up my 50+ geraniums to salvage thru the winter. It was colder than blazes but I got it all done & those poor little 'ladies' didn't know what had happened!

We haven't had a frost yet so we have a few pretties left. Love yours.

Have a lovely day. TTFN ~Marydon

Hi, Darla. The lantana is Ms. Huff. It's been in the same spot in our yard for over 30 years. I never fertilize it or give it extra water. Hope to see you soon. Ms. Doris

Pretty petunia. Everything is blooming beautifully. Love the huge mass of mums. Have a great evening Darla.

I like your mums. I have a big one covered in buds and it is up against the brick wall in front by the garage door and the buds look just like your buds look. I can't imagine what it will look like in full bloom. I am sure your flowers are beautiful in the sunshine. It has been dull, wet and cloudy here for several days. Sunshine makes a lot of difference.

Hi Darla,
This was the best year ever for Black Eyed Susan vines in my garden, until the early freeze. Now, they are a mushy mess.

I love your assortment of blooms. Happy GBBD!

I am so behind on reading blogs so I wanted to come and check in on you first. Thank you so much for the birthday card for Granny. I am giving her a few at a time up until her birthday. She is amazed and cannot quite figure this whole thing out. She is so cute.

I have family and friends that live in Florida and everyone down there is complaining about the heat too. Up here in New England we are freezing our bottoms off... I think I'd rather be hot right now. Your pics are gorgeous and I really enjoy seeing how things still look so great where you are.

I'm not a Mum fan, but I actually like your white one. The daisy form is the best to my eyes, and white goes with everything.

Beautiful blooms! I've forgotten what zone you are in, Darla, but you must be farther south than me to have a coneflower still blooming. The "Raspberry Blast" petunias are favorites of mine, and I buy them every year. They are such prolific performers, but I've noticed the same thing as you--some of the blooms revert to solid colors.
Love the butterflies!

Darla,

The photos of the butterflies on the mexican sage are lovely. It seems like ages since I've seen a butterfly in my garden. It's amazing how quckly they leave once the weather turns cool. Thanks for sharing yours!
