It's time to fertilizer and or flaunt your flowers Friday over at
http://tootsietime.blogspot.com !
Thanks Tootsie for hosting this meme every Friday, your gardens are beautiful and you just wait until my elbows are better--I'll be REDOING my BBQ!!
Hibiscus--I always have plenty of seed from these plants. If you are interested, let me know.
I thought I pulled up all the Ornamental Potato Vine taters last year. Guess I missed a couple. You know what that means. Yes, I have already started cutting these and rooting them in water to spread around the gardens..it only takes about two days to form roots. (Ignore the Loofa vine, I have them growing up trees and on the lattice, will share about them at a later date)
Jacobina
with Monarda
I adore this container, Ruby Mountain Grass with Creeping Jenny.
Cosmos, Zinnias, Purple Coneflowers, Milkweed, Climbing Rose on the right, small container of Peppermint Verbena on the lattice, Clematis Vine and Coral Reef Sedum in the window box. A very small area of the full sun garden, how's this for crowdscaping?
Backside of the lattice. Grandpa Ott's Morning Glory. You can see the climbing rose on the lattice to the right of the Morning Glory. Purple Coneflowers and Dusty Miller.
For some reason I just can't capture the hugeness of this white Guara.
Pink Guara
Double Knockout Roses sure could use some deadheading.
Plumbago
Isn't she divine?
The Pink Butterfly Bush I bought off the distressed rack for $6.00 has settled in well.
White Profusion Butterfly Bush I did not prune this one back last year. I am waiting for the top to bloom so I can show you how large it has grown.
The quality of these photos are not the Canon's fault. It's the fault of the shakey weak arms due to elbows that are in constant pain. Yesterday I was cleared for surgery. Potassium level is strong at 5.2 and the EKG was okay. This does not decrease the anxiety level though, lol. I know we are to be anxious for nothing and by prayer and supplication let our requests be known to God. It's a work in progress...
