Wednesday Words....

My two oldest children. He's 24, she's 26...she is the one that just got married in Oct. The Greenhouse is coming together, thanks my precious husband!

Because the Greenhouse is located on the upper deck, DH put a layer of foam insulation on the floor to keep the winter cold from coming through the bottom. The foam repels water so it will run along the sides and out of the Greenhouse. With it being in this location I have access to water and electricity to the left of it. Going to pick out some flooring, a thermometer and a small heater today. Any suggestions?
Anyone have one of these? A video camera that hooks right to the computer for blogging and or You Tube. I need to practice using it. It also takes photos.
Most of you know that my oldest daughter and her husband have a Red Footed Tortoise, from a private breeder, as a pet. His name is Willis although we call him Turtie. Here he is all decked out in his Santa Hat....

Thanks for all of the Birthday wishes. I had a fantastic day!

Today I am Thankful that the temperature is supposed to return to more seasonal averages rather than breaking lows!

You are really going to enjoy your greenhouse and it will be so handy there on your deck! I don't know how it would work there but I have a small electric ceramic type heater that I like. It is square, completely enclosed and has a thermostat and fan. If it is turned over, it cuts off. One like this turned real low should do nicely out there.
That's a funny pet to have! I would want one that returns my love!

Darla,

My wife laughed at your comment - I've been leaving containers all around the house for years!

The greenhouse is going to really be something. I know you'll get a lot of use out of it, especially since it is in such a convenient location.

First of all I missed your day yesterday. Happy Birthday Darla. I bet your mom was glad for the extra tax deduction that year. LOL The couple look so happy together. Your daughter is so pretty too - I bet like her mother. Happy New Year! The greenhouse is fantastic. Was this your birthday present? I know you will have it filled up in no time - after all spring isn't that far away now.

Happy Birthday and Oh My Gosh...a Greenhouse. I am Sooooo Jealous.
Sounds and looks like you're off to a great start. Flooring, hm, is it in it's permanent spot? Patio block would be easy to sweep and keep clean.
