Darla: Now that is a tree bark that I would have never guessed. I thought it might have been a thorn bush of some sort.

Well this is a true gardeners eye at work here.... I will now nip over and see the others Darla... You could say that you are the thorn between 3 Roses in this challenge.. ;o)

Nice one Darla, and I love the colours too, but who will win??.

Even the bark has pink on it and reminds me of grapefruit sections. Nice captures.
So far I like your bark best, still to look at Tom and Mac. But Fishing guy thinks he's got a dog barking in his tree. Poor guys half blind, but I'll give him an T for trying. ;-)

Darla... you have my vote... colour, texture, and markings are excellent.... At first I thought it was a Rose tree... with the thorn and all, :O)

I now hope others will disagree... ha! LOl

Hi Darla,
Had to come see what kind of bark you were posting.

Hi Darla,
I didn't realize I was behind far enough to miss that many of the header challenges. I had decided I wasn't organized enough to participate, but wanted to check out what others had come up with. I tried to click on your sidebar award to see if the photo of your winning header was linked to it, but it didn't seem to be. Congratulations!

I like your bark photo, but what I loved was seeing all those lovely grapefruits! Oh, and the new photo of you in the chair is cool!

I had to tell Mac that you got my vote this week. You may hold onto that shield after all.

Mmmm... enjoy that grapefruit. I never saw that kind of tree before. And until now, I didn't realize that this header thing was an actual contest -- with a prize and everything! Congrats on your previous victory.

Hello,

What a great photo. We grow citrus too and it is crazy how much fruit a grapefruit tree can produce. Enjoy them this winter!
