I was on vacation since May 16th and didn't have time to read blog posts. I've missed contact with my blogging friends! I was happy to read good news about your dad's surgery.

Prayer is a wonderful thing, isn't it? We've been praying hard for your Dad. I'm so happy he's doing so much better.
My appologies for not getting back here sooner, but it's been a real indifferent couple of weeks. Thanks for your prayers and stopping in. It means a lot. Loveya for it.
On looking and reading your past entries, My, Oh, My Girly, do you have lovely grounds. Only thing is, I see TONS of WORK there...I love it too, that's why we do it. The garden work seems to be my daily therapy, whether enjoying the fruits, veggies and flowers of our labor, or just an evening stroll with the camera, snapping away inbetween pulling another handful of weeds.
Have a Wonderful Sunny Day

You are a busy gardener. Also, I looked at your past post. Your garden is BEAUTIFUL. You have done a great job designing the beds!! In the 9th photo...what is the red bloomer? It is very pretty.
Glad your dad is doing well!

Truth here says to me that you are a plant addict! Nothing wrong with that!

I'm glad your dad is cancer clear!

Hi Darla, happy to hear your Dad's surgery went well.

I'm always so glad to see I'm not the only one with a pot ghetto. For one reason or another, I just can't seem to get everything planted.

Glad for your dad.
So perfect the "truth" of gardening...pots, tools and weeds pulled.

The truth in gardening is the real dirt isn't it?

Glad to hear good news about your Dad.

I have similar pots sitting around waiting to be planted. It looks like a real gardener lives there with tools and buckets of trimmed plants.
Yeah for your Dad!

Wow Darla what a great header picture. I can seethe craters!
If we were all truthful we have stuff like that around are yards too.LOL!
I did get a few containers washed up and turned over yesterday to dry. Stormed last night and they were scattered over the yard. I should have took a picture of that mess. LOL!

I'm sooooo glad about your dad. Glad he was finally convinced to do the surgery, glad it was in a timely fashion and glad the doctors were adequately skilled to take care of business. And glad that you, my dear friend can now feel at peace about the matter.

Glad to hear good news about your Dad!
One definitely must love gardening to garden, because it is never ending.
For me it is very relaxing, just being outside with my hands in the dirt. Don't have near enough time to spend out there though.

Love the susan photos. The cone flower is one of my favorites also. I first saw it in prairie remnants in Iowa many years ago.
