Several Meme Themes in One Post and Header Challenge

I am combining several meme themes in this post because I will be having reconstructive surgery on my elbow tomorrow so it may be a little while before I can blog.
I missed Bloomin' Tuesday over at http://msgreenthumbjean.blogspot.com/ yesterday, can't remember when I've missed that! Drop by and tell her I said Hi.

I hope that Tootsie will link me up to her FF on Friday morning. Drop by her place and take a look at her beautiful yard in Canada. She is very creative and has an eye for detail http://tootsietime.blogspot.com/
Double Althea
Self Heal-Prunella

Blurry Hosta bloom
Double Daylily with Hibiscus
Cleome
Grandpa Ott's Morning Glory
Purple Coneflowers, Celosia and Morning Glory on the lattice
Gerbera Daisy

Pink Angelonia
White Angelonia
Tall Celosia will be saving seeds from this too...let me know if you are interested in any of them.
It has been faithful to return and self seed for a number of years now.
Carnations are beginning to open
more to come.
Althea with Dahlias in front. The Dahlias have been blooming for months now.
Agapanthus with white Cosmos
My daughter sent me some Loofa Vine Seeds from one of her clients in Daytona Beach, FL. They need a long growing season and strong support.
I do hope we get some Loofa sponges from it!
These Impatiens came back in this container from last year. I left in out all winter long.
The Impatiens planted this year are filling in quite nicely. The white just glows in the evening.
This is the first time I have participated in Gail's Wild Flower Wedenesday over at http://clayandlimestone.blogspot.com/ . I have been trying to learn from her and Frances over at http://fairegarden.wordpress.com/ about wild and or native plants. This is one that I have left alone this year. Previous years of pulling it may have added to the tendonitis in my elbows.

Any ideas to it's name?
The buttery color of the bloom looks very good with the blue/green foliage.
Don't forget to visit the other Header Challenge Team Members in my sidebar to see what Bug they have featured in their headers.

Darla: Best wishes to your surgery and a speedy recovery!

You have lots of very beautiful flowers in your garden! That tall Celosia looks very pretty. If you have lots of seeds, I would love to have some to try in my south florida garden:)

Your mystery flower looks like primrose. I wish you luck with your shoulder. And on to Nicky, my tag actually said Nicky and when I Googled it I find all sorts of name spellings. It is the same though. Some tag makers just spell things differently.

You sure did get a lot covered in one post! Dahlias and Cosmos are two I look forward to seeing here. I'm really interested to see your Loofah vine as the sponges (flowers?)grow.
I'd love to try some Celosia seeds. I'm planning to save seeds and I'll see which ones you'd like when they are ready.
Take Care!

I just saw your comment on my blog about the deer. She was probably home, but I bet she didn't see it. I'll call and tell her. When my grandson hears about it, he'll be watching out the window from now on!

Prayers for you Darla. I know when you have healed from the surgery that you will feel much better.

Beautiful mystery plant. Love the softness of the yellow. I have never seen an actual loofah plant and its flowers. Can't wait to see yours.

Your garden is beautiful as always and I love all the white impatiens along the beds. It has to be so lovely at night.
Take care and prayers.

I will add my prayer to the many others mentioned here for your surgery. I had to laugh at how you have so neatly wrapped up all those memes. Your dahlias always look so pretty. My one little pot of them is hanging in there with this heat we're having in west central Florida. Take care and I will be waiting for your return to blogworld as you are able.

Hi Darla, My love and prayers are with you through your surgery and recovery. I hope and pray that the pain meds don't do a 'number' on your stomach like they have done to me... I just cannot take either Percoset or Vicadin.. Good Luck!!!!!

Our two Impatiens hanging baskets made it through the winter here also. I brought them in the house.. They are doing fine now...

Keep us posted when you are able.

Love and Prayers to you,
Betsy

Yes, Darla. It looks like Evening Primrose to me. I wonder if it has a scent. I don't grow this in my garden but a few years ago one popped up so I replanted it in a container and enjoyed watching the blossoms open at dusk.

That spider might be beneficial and beautiful but it is menacingly scary!!!! I'm trying so hard to teach myself to like bugs but just can't seem to get there.

Corner Gardener Sue said...

Hi Darla,
I love that spider photo! Your blooms are looking great, too. That first celosia with the large leaves looks interesting.

Thanks for the garlic oil tip. I've used Liquid Fence, but it's rained so much, I haven't been able to reapply it. I'll have to look into the garlic oil. I'm thinking we need to put some rabbit fencing around the veggies.
