Fertilizer Friday --

Please join the party over at http://tootsietime.blogspot.com I managed to snap a few photos yesterday evening..it was so nice to be outside for a few minutes. In my rush to spend a few precious moments in the gardens I did not check the setting on my camera...resulting in poor quality photos for this post...sigh

When is the best time to divide and spread Creeping Phlox?
I had some red Spider Zinnias in a container to the left of these bricks, look where they have reseeded..
What a nice surprise to find Miss Bateman blooming in the Crepe Myrtle Tree.
Angelonias and VincaZinnias on their second self seeded go around .
On the other side of the Firespike is
Wheelbarrow full of Sheffield Mums.
In another bed are the original Sheffield Mums that I divide from.

Today I am asking for traveling mercies for all of those attending my daughter's wedding. Lord, I am also asking for your favor, grace and protection to cover the wedding and all involved from the people delivering items to the wedding, the wedding itself to the trash collector's who will be collecting the trash when it's over. I also pray a hedge of protection around the Bride and Groom as they leave in the limousine with the bridal party for a party downtown and then off on their honeymoon the next morning. In Jesus precious name I pray...Amen

I am intrigued by your mums and wondering if I can plant them in the ground here in Central Florida, as a perennial. I love your Shefield mums. :)

I am just amazed that you keep on posting to your blog during this busy, busy week! Love that clematis! For all the plants we share between our zones, that one always reminds me that my garden is indeed in a different clime. Best wishes for a safe and peaceful wedding day filled with beautiful memories. Hope you are planning to share lots of photos!

Ignore the Stax on the previous comment. Blogger is slower than me today, finally something slower than myself, and put in part of the code at the end of the comment.I noticed it as soon as I hit the button but then there was no bringing it back. LOL!

Hi Darla Dear, The best time to divide phlox is probably right after it's finished blooming. This will allow it plenty of time to rejuvenate before the next flowering period.

Miss Batemen is quite stately. I love her dark stamens.

Blessings before during and after the wedding. I can't wait to hear all about it.
