FF -- Ms. Doris' Garden

I'm joining http://tootsietime.blogspot.com/ for FF.. This week I am featuring some flowers from Ms. Doris' Garden Three Doors Down.
I love to see her Amaryllis bloom and I almost missed them this year.

Lovely Hibiscus

When Ms. Doris showed me her Alstroemeria blooming she exclaimed, "It's a miracle!"

The next two photos are of two of her Hydrangeas blooming. Remember, she has over 70 in her collection.

She has so generously rooted me cuttings of different Hydrangeas, I'm up to about 8 now.

Spirea-- Anthony Waterer

A few of her containers.

This is Allen Caesar, named for her DH.

Agapanthus

Only Ms. Doris could pull off a combination with different water and light needs...

A piece of Autumn Joy Sedum that I gave her is doing quite nicely with the portulaca.

Torenia, Impatiens, Allysum and Fern

This is the area where the tree fell in that bad storm we had a few weeks back. Looks great again!

Thank you Ms. Doris for letting me visit, I really enjoyed it as usual. My post is late today because I started watching the Royal Wedding at 4:30 this morning...

Today I am Thankful that I could view a 'real' fairytale wedding.

What a treat to visit Ms. Doris' place. Good to see it all cleaned up from the storm.

Blotanical is unavailable this morning. I hope that means the changes are about to appear.

Thank Ms. Doris for allowing me to also stroll through her lovely garden. I love the planters. Who knew that Agapanthus would do so well in one. Her Hydrangeas are wonderful. They are one of my favorites tho we do not see the blooms until early fall. But, oh that Alstroemeria! WOW!, what a show the Amaryllis are giving. Every plant looks so happy.
As for this weekend, I, too, hope it's warmer even tho we are only going southwest about 2 hrs.

Ms. Doris sure has a beautiful garden. I'd love to take a stroll there along with you, of course.
My amaryllis has never bloomed. I'm thinking of putting it outside to see if maybe that will give it some extra light. Maybe that's what it needs.

Need to spend about a $50 or even less if you can buy them from your local nurseries which sometimes do run annual sales of their plants & garden tools or even from yard sales or flea markets.
