From the looks of it, there isn't much woods left, you have it all in flowers now.

Love the boots, brought a smile to my face.

Darla said...

Leedra, that is just the front yard and part of one side. The woods are out back...Glad you like the boots...plant them and forget about them.

That bed with the mailbox in it is just beautiful! You have so much blooming, it's great to come here and see all your flowers. It cheers me up, waiting for the rain here to go away in the PNW, and for the temps to warm up a bit.

Darla said...

Alison, I read on another PNW gardening blog that ya'll were receiving rain again..soon my dear Spring will be all around you. Thanks for enjoying your visit here.

Lona said...

Oh Darla your place is so beautiful. I love the landscaping you have done. I cannot wait to see it in person. That last photo is stunning. The coleus really make a statement here.

Darla said...

Lona, thank you. The mailbox bed is nowhere filled up yet....seedlings everywhere.

Becca, thank you as well. How nice of you to call it landscaping, I have never thought of my yard being landscaped..just random gardens around.

Your gardens are filling up fast. It must be so pretty pulling into your front drive. I love that clay pottery and your arrangements in them. And, leaves and weeds? All I see is mulch and groundcover:)

I love all your lovely spaces and creative ways you have planeted and arrangef them, and thought they are looking great now, know they are going to really boom when in full flower..

I would be the lady with the painted work boots :)...ballet slipper pink to be exact, seemed fitting...though I do love yours and the ones you have shown in other posts also.

Really enjoyed your last post as well with the teens, great idea, I have been trying to convince hubby to let me have the old cinder blocks here...now he might just agree...he does not always trust my "artistic visions"

Thanks for dropping by Our "green acres" this morning lol.

Blessings Kelsie

I am going to add you to my blog list so I can follow your lovely garden.

Darla it all looks so pretty. We live on 10 acres, much of it in pasture. I know, if I was younger, I would have way more garden than I do now.
