Cottage Flora Thursday and FF

Trumpet Lily buds with Turk's Cap Trumpet Lilies in another area Datura in the middle. Fix the date on your camera Darla!

Cosmos

Random Zinnias dropped off on my porch by an unkown neighbor, hadn't a clue of their colors. Butterfly Ginger buds

The Sedum boots are thriving on neglect, love that!

This Clematis Vine that was completely covered in blooms during the Spring, continues to push out a bloom or two in the summer heat. With each new bloom the colors are darker?? Loving this too!

Every now and then when I purchase a mixed packet of seeds, like the Cosmos, I am surprised with a beauty..

I would love to have a field of these colors....

Linking up over at http://fishtailcottage.blogspot.com/ for today and http://tootsietime.blogspot.com/ for tomorrow.

**If any of you are receiving strange emails from me, I did not send them and hopefully I have corrected the problem**

Today I am Thankful that my gardens are continuing to give me blooms ..

Love the flowers you're sharing today. The cosmos is really beautiful, love those colors. I wonder if any seed company sells that color separately? The trumpet lilies are really trumpet-shaped, very cool.

We're having a wet day here, not really rainy, just drizzle and it's not much fun being out there with the skeeters, but I hate to waste any day inside when all too soon it will be wall to wall snow.

Your Sedum looks so happy. I have a sedum I planted in the wrong spot. It is trying to croak from over watering. I must get it moved before she completely rots on me.... Yikes...

Darla, I agree with you a field or even a few of that yummy cosmo would be awesome.. You still have a lot of pretties..Oh and unless I lose my mind or 50 pounds you will never see me floating around in the pool..lol
and chances are I will lose the mind first..lol

I would love to see a field of those flowers, too. Beautiful!
Got another one of those emails yesterday. Determined little people aren't they? LOL

All your flowers are so beautiful and "cottageie" (is that a word?). You always take such good photos, too. Thanks for sharing.

I love the pretty Cosmos blooms Darla!

Lilies are just beginning to open here too, I look forward to them more for their smell than anything. That is a really pretty Cosmos! Mine is sooooo slow this year, they just started sprouting in the last couple of weeks. Zinnias are barely up here too. Wish I had such a generous neighbor as you.

That last Cosmos is way cool. I wonder if you saved its seed if it would come back true next year. Your Trumpet lilies are architectural wonders, much more dainty and refined than the wider lilies. I like them a lot. How nice that your Clemmy keeps putting out flowers. It's a beaut too.

What a pretty cosmos, never seen the petals edged like that. And I love the simple beauty of the ginger buds.

I really like the Cosmos blossoms. I'm not sure I've seen this coloration before. I agree that a field full of them would be a wondrous sight.
I was interested to see that you have trumpet lily buds that haven't opened. I'm afraid our lilies are done for the year.

Hi Darla - your garden is truly a gardener's haven. Love all the blooming flora and their colors. This is what I like about blogging, I get to see things that I normally do not see in my corner of the world.

Happy Thursday!

The color on that clematis is beautiful. Getting darker in the heat...interesting. I would love to have a field of wildflowers of any color, but that cosmos is a special one.

Your garden is so pretty. Mine seems to be winding down from the heat wave...just trying to keep everything watered without running up the water bill! an impossibility :/
I love Cosmos! I have had real beauts over the years. I love how you get a "bonus beaut" every so often.
Have a great weekend!

You got a great shot of the sedum blooms.
I'm jealous of your clematis. Mine is having a hard time in the heat.

Everything is so lush even in your heat of the day. That, my dear, makes you a great gardener. Those Butterfly Ginger buds caught my eye. Love it, don't have it, does it survive zone 3? Also love the sedum boot. WOW, it's doing great!
Have a great weekend.
