across my car!
He didn't seem to bother the Breadseed Poppy seedlings from Catherine at http://agardenerinprogress.blogspot.com/
The Purple Coneflower fought back by turning a vibrant pink..
Cornflowers from seed were not bothered either..
The Coral Reef Sedum took in all in stride by..
turning a beautiful coral color.
My bird feeder that really isn't, didn't mind Jack's visit too much...
Look Ms. Frances at http://fairegarden.wordpress.com/ this is the Blue Fescue Grass I started from seed and you suggested I put it in my rock garden. I planted 13..
Anyone know anything about Ranuculas....I planted several banana looking bulbs (about 40, that's several isn't it Carol? at http://maydreamsgardens.blogspot.com/ and they are sprouting.
Here in North Florida we have gone from Summer to Winter..........several days in the 40's, all day long, today 50 something for a minute...over 6 inches of rain in two days, then a misty rain all day.......rain supposed to be here again on Tuesday...........might as well SNOW!

I love how your Sedum looks now!!! It looks so healthy and now has a tinge of color. Hope it doesn't get too cold down there!!
Hi Darla! My, you know your plants, don't you? I hope they all survive the winterness! I just love Sedum and glad yours is looking great!
Thanks for popping over to see me.
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
Your sedums are so pretty. Here in GA, it was 24* here this a.m. I still have one yellow Iris hanging on!!! Hope you have a great week.
Brrr---that's cold for you, isn't it? Hope ole Jack Frost didn't do much damage. It doesn't look like he did. The Sedum never seems to be bothered by cold weather. Don't know about some of the others.
Our temp here was 19 when we got up this morning. We still have snow which hasn't melted... It's DARN cold!!!!
Hugs,
Betsy
I'll trade you are snow for your rain! I'm glad Jack Frost didn't do much damage in your garden.
Howdy Sweetie
Wow your plants are really strong !
Mine did not make it through the freezing temps.
Oh well I have the root stocks, and seeds to start over again.
Thank you so very much for leaving such kind comments on my blog.
I am still trying my best to be on good behavior so that I can make a full recovery ,but It is hard to be still and do nothing when your spirit wants to go full speed ahead.
Blessings to you and yours for the coming week.
May each moment be filled with many happy memories .

Funny how you can be so far South of me and our weather be so similar.
Love that Coral Reef Sedum. I've never seen it before.
Someday I will live somewhere warm!! The forcast calls for 6-8 inches of snow tonight. yuck! Thanks for the photos!
We enjoyed our snow while we had it but now it's raining again.
Winter is hitting pretty hard here too. Guess those beautiful Indian summer days couldn't last forever.

Hi Darla dear, you are so funny with that Jack Frost fellow! Running hither and yon all over in Florida of all places. Hooray for the blue fescue, and thanks for the link. If you want to know how to do a link, here is what my friend taught me:
write what you want to show here, name of blog, name of post, just the name, anything you want
Follow that exactly, yes there is a space between the a and href, no other spaces though. Do this in html tab. Once you have done it a million times, you will have it memorized.
Frances
Oooookaaaay. That came out as a link instead of the html. A link to nothing. I will try again:
write what you want to show here
End it with the greater than sign slash a lesser than sign
Will this show up right?
Frances
Darla glad the seedlings are still alright. Snow in your state? That is just not right.
I see old Jack Frost did his thing at your house and garden. Your Sedum is so pretty.
Patsy
How I envy your winters....just starting to snow here as we speak! All the best,Chrissy
Sounds like some crazy weather you're having. Doesn't look like your garden was bothered much by Jack's visit. I'm so glad the poppies came up so quickly! How fun to think they are sprouting all the way across the country.
I love that Coneflower. Mine are long gone :( Love all the sedums too.
Darla: Winters short visit can be fun.
I had no idea you guys got frost there!!! It is super cold here...
I'm glad your gardens aren't ruined!
Isn't it interesting what is affected by frost and what isn't? I love how beautiful your Coneflower still is. I hope you get some sunny weather soon.
Beautiful to see the new sprouts of green in December. We'll be down your way before long and I can hardly wait!
Your photos are always so nice. I especially love that sedum in the blue bird feeder that really isn't.
Merry Christmas Darla!
That Coral Reef Sedum is so pretty!!!
