I'm glad you posted this Darla. I spoke to Ronda. She only learned of the illness about 4 weeks ago. It spread so quickly first finding in the liver and then all over her body. It could happen to any of us. I told Ronda that she might be getting calls since I posted her phone number and she said that was good.

Thank you Darla for posting this address. We can only hope that the cards we send will show Linda's family some of the joy she brought to our small community.

It's sad, and it's hard to loose someone, even if we have never met in person. I still consider her part of my circle of friends...

Oh my goodness! Thank you so much Darla for visiting my blog to tell me the terribly sad news. I knew she was ill a little while ago but thought things had improved. I have been checking her blog regularly for updates and must admit when I checked yesterday I started to wonder if all was not well but certainly never dreamt of this.

It is not an exaggeration to say this has upset me very much. I had been blogfriends with Linda for over two years and will miss her very much.

Thank you again for letting me know, it was extremely thoughtful of you! I will come back to check out your blog properly.

My thoughts are with her family and friends.

This is sad news. I visited her blog, and while I did not know her well, we gardeners and bloggers are sisters at heart. When I think of heaven I often imagine a soft breeze and flowers growing all around, a special gardeners' heaven.

I first learned about Linda's passing this morning, from Janet, The Queen of Seaford. It was such a shock to find out. I've been in the garden for hours today, thinking of her most of the time. So very sad. Thanks for sharing the mailing address so I can send a card to the family.

This is so sad. I followed Rain Gardener. As a new gardener, I took inspiration from her trial and error philosophy. Don't hold back when you want to try something new. Just try and learn as you go. Such wisdom and she was the nicest.

Thank you Darla. It was your comment on someone's blog that I learned the news from. I will miss Linda. We exchanged several e-mails, after her Dad passed away, and she also gave me some info about good fishing places in this area. Thanks for the address.
