How gorgeous everything is in your garden. If it ever stops raining here, I may get to see things open and bloom too.

Darla, the cinder block wall is filling out very nicely, I like all the different heights.

I have the same silver sage here and when it finishes blooming I cut off the flower stalk and some of the leaves and it usually comes back again. Is it the same for you? Inquiring minds want to know. The gladiola is amazing, love the color.

The weatherman said this morning that it would be around 95 in your area today. Youch! It's too hot so early in the year. I'm hoping for rain too. Love that gladiola - love the color. The red block wall is filling in nicely. Have a nice day Darla.

So many pretties! I loved the Silver Sage before it bloomed but now with the blooms it is a winner. What a pretty lily Darla. Girl how do you keep your Glads from falling over? The block garden is filling in nicely. Is your daughter thrilled with it?

The block wall is a great idea! Lovely flowers you have there, your weather must be considerably warmer then mine in the PNW as we have spring blooms only!

Great pictures, Darla. I love seeing the update on the cinderblock wall.... Gorgeous!!!!

I love Glads --and tried them one year, but they didn't do well here --where I put them... So--I haven't tried again.

Thanks for sharing your beauty, Darla. Love that Canna.

Hugs,
Betsy

Wow - my gaura looks so puny next to yours! My lamb's ears have not started blooming, either, nor my lilies. I hope we both get some of the rain. Love your red block wall! Very creative!

How quickly things can change in the garden! Looking at the datura before and after shows that to be true. That silver sage is really something. Hoping for rain for both of us.

The cinder block wall is really looking nice. I also like your lily -- we're still a few weeks away from having any in bloom.

Your zone is a little ahead of ours; the color is outstanding. I wish I could send some rain your way ~ we have more coming for the next few days. Love the cinderblock idea and just love the quote "life began in a garden". Have a great weekend. Debi

Do you know where they sell guara seed. I don't even think I have seen the plant for sale. Would love to get one.

lets see...the wall--love it, the gaura--magical, the zinnia--my yard wants them to come over (and stay).

Very colourful Darla, also the first 2 shots are very arty.

Hi Darla.. your flowers are just wonderful.. you must have good soil in your yard.. mine is so sandy and it's hard to grow anything without putting in new.. this past week I put 40 bags of soil in a bed that has not done well .. hopefully it will now!
I do hope N.Fl has better weather also.. we have been swampy in the 90's for about a month.. and it's not even summer..lol
Happy Gardening

Oh I love that lavender glad. I must get some more Gaura even though it's not permanent in my garden. It's such a bloom machine and a good co-mingler.
