Beautiful as usual Darla. Does that Lisianthus perform well for you in FL? Here it just looks terrible.

wow Darla...what a great contribution today!!! I have never seen grapefruit on the tree before!!! I know...I know...but it is kinda neat to see something we can buy in a store...that you guys can grow in your backyard!!!
thanks for linking in, I always love to see your garden...it is just so pretty...that tipsy pot planter has done very well! I want to make one of those...maybe next year!
I am cleaning my house the rest of the way, my MOM and DAD are coming for my son's birthay on Sunday...and tomorrow is his party with the kids...so I don't have much time!!!
I also need to mow some grass and get my yard spiffed up...4 days of rain has made some serious weed situations!!
I have been meaning to send you some more photos...how's that patio area coming? I have a shot of a finished space...I just can't find it!!

Your garden is so beautiful, even with all the rain we've had. My plants look so sad. I love the photos from your trip and the way you've displayed them.

For me, today the star was Lisianthus. I'll have to look it up.

Hey Darla, that's interesting about the lisianthus. We sell it at work and it has been looking horrible. Maybe it's received too much watering?!?!? Thanks for the info.

I like that balloon flower! I've never seen one before. The shrimp plant is pretty too. My shrimp plant is blooming like crazy next to my back door.

Beautiful flowers! I'm jealous of those eggplants :) Mine got as far as flowers last year, and then it was fall.

Oh I want to be able to grow eggplant. Although we keep getting hotter and hotter summers, it doesn't do well with all the rain.

They look so good!

Like Tootsie, I've never seen grapefruit on a tree before either, not even in a picture or on tv. How cool! The eggplants are pretty neat too. But what I like best are the Plumbago - I've never heard of those, but they are such a delicate colour. Everything looks so pretty. Happy Fertilizer Friday to you :-)

Beautiful flowers Darla. I don't think Lisianthus grows here, I haven't seen it upstate NY. It's very pretty. I love that picture of the two buds ready to open. THanks for sharing your lovely garden

My lillies are doing the same thing. But this is good. I get to enjoy them longer.
I love that shrimp plant. I gotta find one of those.
My uncle usually brings me some grapefruit up from FL, when he stops in for a visit.

about that kitten...lol....I think she gave me him to get even with me giving her boys 10 000 pieces of lego last month!!! No worries...he is going to be plenty loved and spoiled here...I don't beleive in getting tired of a pet and sending it on its way...or letting cats roam...they are living things...and if I bring it to my family...it is a part of the family to the bitter end! (poor thing)

Pretty blue skies your way Darla. It's a bit overcast & rainy here today. Now the sun is trying to peek out. Your blooms look great, have you been getting alot of rain this week? Those eggplants are yummy! :)
