Wednesday Words...Project Help!

First, I do pray that all of you have a SAFE and HAPPY July 4th!
My wonderful husband made reservations for just the two of us at a cabin in the mountains...WHOOO HOOOO!!

Because of the HOT temperatures and unstable atmosphere (thunderboomers) I thought it best to bring the hanging containers and regular containers to the downstairs patio. I gave a few of them a haircut and juiced them all up with some vitamins in hopes that they will thrive while we are away.

Hey Tootsie, over at http://tootsietime.blogspot.com/ this downstairs area has not one plant or decoration on it.........Now, I wonder just what you would do with it? This area is my next project and I am really in need of ideas........from all of you!! It's under the upperdeck so rain water does come through. Up the first flight of stairs to the left is the lower deck with the above ground pool.

There are two doors down here, the one you see goes into the downstairs apartment and there is one to the left of the photo that goes into the basement.
We leave tomorrow morning and will return sometime Saturday!
I am way too excited and cannot wait to share photos of our trip....What a doll of a husband I have!
Thanks to http://muddybootdreams.blogspot.com/ for hosting this new meme.

Aww, that's so sweet!! Have a wonderful time. Your under deck area looks nice, you don't see many that clean and tidy. What a challenge! We just need to find you something that will go crazy in total shade! Happy 4th of July!!

Hi Darla. Looks like you will have a lot of shade and indirect light in your new area. Bromeliads would do very well there. And going away on vacation is a snap. Just pour water in the "vase" and you're done. Certain orchids would also do well there.

Happy a happy 4th of July and enjoy would mini-vacation. You deserve it.

A weekend in the mountains sounds wonderful. Have a relaxing get away, eat some great foods, and come home rested and happy.

YOu could do so much with that space! I would get some furniture and put down there and add some pots! I know it will get wet when it rains, so you could always bring the cushions in if it rains. Get some nice decorations to hang on the walls, even some plants to hang on the wall

You were probably wise to move your plants into that lower deck. Have a safe and wonderful trip.

Hey Darla,
How neat that you are coming here to Blue Ridge this weekend. I wish we were gonna be here. We would take time to meet. You will love the little town and there are so many other towns around too. Blairsville is great too. It is about 20 minutes away. Have fun and enjoy!! I can't wait to see pictures.
