FF and Christmas Stuff!!

Here's a wreath that I decorated...not fancy...but, so me!
It's Fertilizer Friday over at http://tootsietime.blogspot.com/ Not showing too many blooms this time....trying like the Dickens to get somewhat ready for Christmas. I know, I know, I have posted my Poinsettia (a lot) that I have kept alive for over a year now.........I do the happy dance everytime I see it!!
It's actually two of them. The one on the left is so much larger...You know what's funny? My husband purchased a white, pink and red one.........Don't remember which was which...one is struggling somewhere else. Both of these are RED!
My Charlie Brown Christmas Tree in the yard..
This is where I made my Iris bed...putting rocks along the edge of this..first of the year! (you can't really see the Iris' believe me they are there)
Love how these ladies have the white frilly on their skirts.
What a nice row of Cornflowers...started from seed.
One day I'll post a decent photo of my Hotlips Salvia....I bet imac likes this plant!
Today I made candies......

I will attach these candies to the top of gifts...I made the name tags out of Christmas cards that we received in 2006!

Do drop by Tootsie's she is a very talented person all the way around!! I just love her...
We are supposed to get up to 4 inches of rain in the next 24 hours........sigh

First time here. Found you through Tootsie. I've enjoyed your blog, including the photos. I wish my gardening season was a bit longer. Had to put everything to bed for the winter. Thanks for sharing and Happy Holidays!

It is all wonderful, Darla! I know Christmastime at your place is just the best and happiest of anywhere. You have so much energy and enthusiasm, that's what we love about you! I love too that your wreath is so you, who else should it be, right? Nobody else! Your candies are adorable. We are trying to get ready too, with one batch of company already here and gone. It makes for a festive time, love it! :-)

Hi Darla!
You have been busy, busy, busy!!! The snowmen ornaments you did turned out really cute as did your wreath-I seriously thought that picture was one you go off an online magazine!!!! Good job!
I love seeing your poinsettia-When my husband and I wen to Mexico they were all over the place, so beautiful.

About my post...Yes, those are snow skis on the wall-On the other side of the garage the snowboards are against the wall the same way-If you enlarge the picture you will see fishing poles for every size fish and back packs hanging from the ceiling/the bikes are hanging from the ceiling on the other side. We are a very outdoorsy family and my husband likes a well organized garage (I don't know why but writing that about him makes me laugh) Mr. Perfectionist he is~♥
Today is my granddaughter Noelle's first birthday!! So much to do, but I want to get the post up early today on what the tree and critters had to do with each other!
So much fun and a great conversational piece.
Have a Merry weekend,
Robin~♥
P.S. Your candy looks too good to eat (though I would break down and eat it!!!)

Yum! That candy looks scrumptious! Cute idea reusing the cards....great idea actually! I love the Charlie Brown tree!

Beautiful wreath!
You did a great job on that candy, too. ALMOST too cute to eat.
The recycled card name tags are a great idea. I'll have to keep that idea in the back of my mind. I never throw away Christmas cards. I just know they can be reused. And now I have proof.

Did you get your rain? I love your poinsettias! I think I told you I'm in awe of seeing them growing in the ground. Your candies look perfect! Mine would turn out wopperjawed. I don't know if that's a real word, but if it is, I have it misspelled. LOL

I hope you found a good cookie recipe. I don't bake cookies these days.
