My Garden is Confused!

We have had three frosts, lots and lots of rain, (over 3 inches in an hour and a half last week) a few days where the temperature stayed in the 40's with gusty wind....today in the 70's.....tomorrow more rain...

This morning in the garden I found a Monarch Chrysalis...
A couple of Clouded Sulphurs

A Long Tailed Skipper...AND we still have Hummingbirds....
It really is December though, I can prove it...SEE
A part of our Christmas Tree!

No confusion here, everything has been in the deep freeze for over 2 weeks. Cold, baby, Cold.

And yesterday we got snow, remember this is supposed to be the banana belt of Canada. Hmmmmmmm.

Everything looks wonderful in your yard.

Hi Darla, I haven't managed to visit in a while, and when I do I find all 4 seasons in one post.
That's the most EXPRESSIVE Christmas tree ornament I've seen!

I guess everyone is having some confusing weather. Today is is very warm and rainy. Personally, I need Mr. Sunshine to come for a long visit.

It's like summer for your flowers and butterflies year 'round down there!!! Here it's dreary gray and wet outside. But that's okay, the sun will pop out and it will be cherry again.

The chrysalis looks like a hanging ornament too. But the doll is really very cute and lovely.

This weather has been strange this year! Very cool to see the chrysalis. I was out today in 64 degree weather, it was a good day for greenhouse work!

A monarch crysalis?! Is that something you can bring inside for observation? That would be out of this world, to see the butterfly emerge!

Yes, your ornament is adorable, but so is that chrysalis! Cool beans!

I hope you have the kind of weather you like for Christmas. Yes, it is almost here!

How wonderful that you have so many beautiful flowers and butterflies even now when it's almost Christmas!
