Santa Brought Me A New Camera!!

Some random photos taken with my new camera~~! Canon PowerShot SX120IS
I hadn't a clue there was so much you can do with a 'good' camera...This is going to be fun and... a little like going back to school.
I do hope that all of you had a very Merry Christmas with lots of love and laughter..
Oldest Big Kid made it in from Daytona Beach...
they never really grow up when they are at home..
Our muscially inclined one...plays the flute, harmonica, dabbles at the piano and taught herself a Christmas song on her new Acoustic Guitar yesterday! Her room is black and white with music notes everywhere.

The youngest Medium Kid got her Skateboard..

You never know where you will find this kid...(now she is cleaning her Skateboard)
The two kids on the ends of the table received XBoxes so we really didn't see much of them yesterday, (except to eat) although we heard some weird sounds that tend to go along with trying to beat an electronic game ...

We had a most wonderful Christmas Day...!!

Now I am ready to shift my posts, thoughts, dreams and ideas back to the garden.

Monday is my 47th Birthday!

Hi Darla~ It sounds like you had a wonderful Christmas with your family. Your new camera sounds great. I love digital cameras because there is so much more freedom to experiment without risk. It will be fun to see your results. ... I'm glad you received my gifts. The postman was doubtful the package would get there by Christmas. The gripe book, I read it years ago and have my copy around here. Hopefully it will bring a chuckle or two. Yes, now that Christmas is over we can get on with the important things, like gardening. LOL

Happy Birthday TOMORROW, my friend... You cannot be THAT old????? ha ha... (Truly, that is YOUNG compared to an old woman like me!!!!)

Sounds like all of the kids got home for Christmas and a great time was had by all. I love the way you all hold hands around the table when saying the blessing. Our family does also.. LOVE it!!!!!

I'll bet that your parents were thrilled that you were born on the 28th--so that he could claim you on his tax return. George MISSED that opportunity since his daughter was born on Jan. 1st. ha

Hope your family spoils you rotten tomorrow.

Hugs,
Betsy

Sad looking cutting actually grew into something worthwhile. Mum usually had a bottle or vase on the window sill with something in it sprouting roots to either go in the garden or give away.
