Dreaming Of Fertilizer Friday!!

It's Friday and that means that Tootsie over at http://tootsietime.blogspot.com/ is hosting her weekly Fertilize and Flaunt your flowers. I went back in the archives to dream of fertilizing again.
One of my wheelbarrows
Raspberry Blast Petunia-Proven Winners

Purple Coneflowers with a Painted Lady
Crinum Lily
Some of you may remember all of the Monarch's that we raised this past Summer...we even hatched some from eggs in a plastic container.
The Monarch's were real comfortable with all of us. We are planning to do this again this summer. (Our youngest)

We have a 'chance' of some snow flurries this afternoon. I got up in the middle of the night flipping lights on in the yard to see if I could see any white stuff...nada so far. Fingers are crossed! It is raining and I believe it has already hit the high for the day 40f at 8:48 a.m.

***Backyard Bird Count starts today***

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Today I am Thankful and excited to participate in the Bird Count!
You make me thirst for spring...I have never seen a Crinum Lily...it's absolutely beautiful and unique. I need to see if it is zone 3-friendly. Your butterflies are so cool especially on the kids hands and nose. loveit
You sound as eager to see snow as Betsy is. Betsy will often check at night to see if any of that white stuff is coming down. But I want to thank you for the reminder of warmer and more colorful days to come.
Your lovely flowers make us all eager for spring!!! IF it snows down there I hope it doesn't kill back your flowers. It's not snowing here (yet) but it is snowing in south Mississippi.
Glad you reminded me of the bird count! When I left my house this morning, I had a feeding frenzy of goldfinches on my back porch.
Thanks for stopping by my little nature blog. I really enjoyed looking at your beautifull flowers. I can't wait to get back to my woodland wildflower gardens. "Patience," he says to himself. :)
I love your wheelbarrow plantings! I think I may need to try that. I bought my daughter a butterfly kit so she could raise butterflies....I can't wait to try - I am inspired by your photos :^)
Love your wheelbarrow and the that lattice fence around the garden. I need something like that to grow some new vines.
Hi Darla, Hope you do get some snow---but certainly hope you don't get any frost to kill your beautiful flowers.
I thought you would raise the Monarch's again.. That is so special. Love the picture of the one on your daughter's nose. CUTE!!!!
Keep us posted about your weather.
Hugs,
Betsy
Hi Darla,
We can grow milkweed here, but would love some seeds. Would you mind sending me some? I would be happy to reimburse you for postage :^) The kids are getting so excited about the butterflies.
That raspberry petunia was a beauty Darla. I hope you saved some seeds from it for this summer. I remember your butterfly project and thought it was an amazing project. I started some of the butterfly weed seeds you sent. I am getting ready for those butterflies this summer. ;-)
Have a terrific weekend with your sweetie.I hope you get a few flakes of snow just for you.
I love seeing those sunny flowers. The 'Raspberry Blast' is one I'll be looking for.
I hope you get a little of the snow you're hoping for. I do the same thing when they predict snow, like a kid getting up in the night to look for snow :)
Those monarchs are not afraid of you guys. Do you suppose they can recognize you and not strangers?
Your flowers look great and I like how you did your wheelbarrow. I just love the Crinum Lilies. They look like the Naked Ladies my neighbor gave me. I'm so excited to see they are coming up and will be in MY garden this summer. Have a great weekend.
Thanks you for visiting my blog, Isn't it fun to look at all the old pictures and imagine the new things we will do this year?
My goodness, what I would give to have flowers like that here! It would only be an all you can eat buffet for the tons of deer that we have!! They're cute but annoying when they chomp things off at the ground!
I so enjoyed your virtual trip back to the garden. Beautiful indeed. I've been visiting mine regularly, just to stay sane this winter. More snow expected tonight though. Argh!
