My husband and I found some blooms yesterday..

They are so pretty! Looks like we are going to get another blast of cold this week. I hope it's the last one!

Very pretty. I feel like spring is on its way. We just have to get thru these next couple of cold snaps. Hopefully no hard freeze.

It is so exciting when you spot the first bloom isn’t it? We had a wonderful weekend and it was full of garden fun by us as well. Cleaned out 8 flower beds, pruned bushes, cut the dead foliage of the banana tree, made the gourd birdhouse, etc. Was nice working with a tee shirt on while in the yard! Now they say today will be our last warm day as the cold front is nearing. Sigh, I was so enjoying the warmth but must remember, it is still winter. Am glad the potassium supplements worked for you! Now let’s pray your body will get back to normal…

Congrats on your winnings :-)

I am thankful for the warm sunshine we had to enjoy this past weekend!

It's pretty amazing when you think about what a seed can become. I love the Dianthus. I've wintersowed two kinds this year, my first try at them from seed.

From such a tiny, ordinary looking seed comes such beauty :^)

I have to have more dianthus...they are so pretty but do not have much scent, do they?
Thanks for the visit and the kind words you always leave. Come again

It's funny, Dianthus have a reputation for melting down, but there are some that are such tough and long-flowering flowers. Beautiful too. I like the fuschia and dark wine color.

The flowers are lovely. And seeds are miraculous. I am surprised every year. I can't start my seeds for a while yet.
