Nice pictures! At least you can say you had some outdoor blooms. There really isn't much going on right now here. I would have nothing if it weren't for the indoor plants!

We've had six snow days here so far and to make up for them the school system decided to have school today. Guess what? It snowed! Ha! No school here either. It's nice having him at home. I bet you'll have fun too!

What great photos of the birds. Strawberry plants are one of my favorites. I think the strawberries are just a bonus. I like the foliage and cute little blooms. :)

Great to see some REAL outdoor blooms right now, Darla! Those pretty pink blossoms certainly are cheery. Thanks, too, for the reminder on the Bird Count--we've had a new blanket of snow, so they should be out in full force for me to count today. I'm not very good at identifying too many species, but it's interesting to see that I have many of the same birds that you do in Florida.

I'm glad you put the name of the birds on the pictures cause I need to learn them. Love all your pictures and you've been so good to drop by my blog and encourage me lately...I've needed it.

So just a few blooms? It's a pretty one. I only have a few pansies. We've had so much snow and rain that I'm almost 2 months behind working on Copper Top.

Hi Darla! I bet you'll be having more blooms very soon. Sooner than I will, anyway. Your birds are just as pretty as flowers, though. I bet you enjoy them.

Hang in there, spring is on its way! Even though the waiting is hard, and I am very tired of snow and cold temps, I like this time of year better than November, when I know it's going to be a long time before I'm able to get back out in the garden. Are your temps getting more seasonably normal?

Hello Darla,

I love your little strawberry blossom. It reminds me of driving by the huge strawberry fields in California when I was a child.

Strawberry flowers already!
Your bird pictures are great. For the first three days of our count it poured rain, so my pictures haven't been too great. Today the sky is blue and the birds are singing.

OOoohh Darla - what a beautiful Dianthus. Soon we'll all be showing off our goods. Beautiful birds.

Hi Darla~~ I had to laugh at your strawberry blossom. At first I thought it was some kind of exotic protea with that cone in the middle. Nice shot!

My fingers are crossed that your Floridian weather will return soon.

BTW, Congrats on the header win!! It's an amazing shot.

I love to watch the birds in my yard, but I never knew what most of them were. As always, your photos are beautiful. And thanks for the birdie lesson!

No new growth around here....YET.
But it's coming.
Sorry you didn't have any snow.
Our area didn't get a day off from school. It was used as a make-up day from snow a couple of weeks back.

Well it's good to see strawberry and dianthus buds/blooms, regardless of whether that is 'all' or not! Any and all are welcome! I've never seen a Pine Warbler before...it's precious. I will post my bird count soon...had a wonderful turn out for it. Happy Bloom Day;-)
