I just received an email from a fellow gardening blogger that a post of mine was lifted and posted on another blog. I verified this and found several other gardening blog posts on that sight that belong to some of ya'll. Please email me at rusdar at hotmail dot com and I'll give you the details.
The Bumbles are beginning to show up.
White Petunia
The last Friday of February, can you believe it? Our February has been more Spring-like than I can ever recall. Oh, I am not complaining, I just don't want Old Man Winter to make a late visit and ruin what's going on in the gardens...join us over at
http://tootsietime.blogspot.com/ to see what flowers/plants are being featured today.
Datura
Brugmansia
Pyrethrum-Painted Daisies
The large container of Pansies are just about to cover the Butterfly sign....hopefully the Butterflies will not need a welcome sign to visit. They have a standing invitation to my gardens.
I need an idea for the mailbox garden. It's full sun...I do have a Clematis on the mailbox...any suggestions?
Some of the Daffs in bloom...I still have some just emerging out of the soil and others with very swollen buds. Forgotten her name.
Ice Follies
February Gold
Erlicheer--double--yes, it is fragrant!
The long awaited blooms of the Camellia...
I do hope the rest of you will soon see Spring in your gardens.

Today I am Thankful that Spring is closer than it was yesterday!

Everything seems to be arriving just fine. I'm going to try to note when the bumbles arrive here in the spring. I'm really not sure. Love the lady bug photo for your header. We had a resident lady bug in the house most of the winter. It lived on my plants in the family room. However, I found it dead one day on a plant shelf. I hope it died of old age.
Those daffs look great! It's pretty neat when rosemary blooms - the bee likes it too doesn't he? Spring is barreling along right now here in TN although it took a step back today. Hyacinths are coming up all over and the daffs are about to bloom.
That petunia is gorgeous! Can you believe my daffs are blooming too? Unreal to have them bloom the same time as yours and with crocuses. Have a good weekend!
Love that petunia container! And daffodils are such wonderful creatures! Wish we could grow them down here. I agree, this is the mildest February we've seen in three years! Yay for spring!
Hi Darla, Your post reminded me of my yesterday's post---enjoying the possibilities of spring yet worried that winter is not finished yet....
Love your Petunias. I've never had good luck growing them but they are so pretty.
And your daffs and camelias are gorgeous....
Hope you have a wonderful weekend.
Hugs,
Betsy
Girl I am so jealous of your camellia blooms. LOL! It is gorgeous and the full pot of pansies looks just so pretty. Enjoy your weekend.
What a beautiful collection of daffodils... Your camellia looks like my Kramer's Supreme, mine is mildly fragrant. I am glad to see spring coming to your garden.
People stealing content makes me mad. Someone used to lift photographs off my sight and copyright them to himself. I always put watermarks on mine now...
I keep finding all these blogs with images of flowers. Sometimes I think I live in the wrong part of the country but then I look up at the mountains and think I will stay here! Nice Images.
Your spring is a lot closer than ours Darla.
As always you post a selection of colour and mighty fine shots.
Think you have my email if Mine has been lifted?
Oh yes Darla - yes spring is almost here. It has felt like spring the past week or so. I heard that we will be having more seasonable temps next week in the mid 60's. Oh but that ain't bad for sure. What a striking daffodil - Erlicheer. Beautiful. I love camellias but I have none. Stunning display of pansies. Have a nice weekend.
Hi Darla, things in your garden are so beautiful, it's hard to believe we are living on the same continent. We still have three feet of snow on the ground here. I'm sorry to hear your blog content has been hijacked...I don't understand why people do such things.
Love your "basket" with the violas and all your different daffodils are so very beautiful. Daffodils really represent the beginning of spring for me!
Christina
I feel warmer already, just looking at the flowers in your garden. Thanks for sharing their beauty.
Blessings,Ruth
Oh Darla, your garden is just beautiful!! So full of color!
To answer your question, we do give tours and its getting out of hand. We have friends bringing over friends to look at everything and its becoming a every day occurence! We also have friends asking to have a birthday party or a weddings here. :o
Hugs, Ann
Happy to see flowers in bloom.
Everything looks so pretty Darla and no, we didn't get any rain downtown. Don't know about at my house though. I guess I'll find out when I get home!
Everything looks so beautiful - I think I need to move to Florida. LOL I think I saw that same Camellia in full bloom in town the other day.
I'm so envious of all of your blooms! There isn't much happening here. It's really windy right now...gusts up to 60 mph. My husband just told me as he was outside taking a walk during his lunchbreak (with temps in the 60's) it began to snow! Really strange weather! Some things are definitely changing and green is beginning to show so there is hope! But it still isn't close to what you are seeing in FL!
I think the daffodil with the kiss of orange is Juanita. This is the year of Ice Follies. They are everywhere and bigger than usual.
Camellias are not at their best here so far this year. The cold that helped the narcissus hurt the evergreens.
I sent you an email re the lifted posts. Thanks.
Darla Dear, The theft is so irritating. What is wrong with people? Your flowers are amazing. I love the pansy container.
your flowers are beautiful...can't believe some one is stealing posts...
BTW, yes, I've found my blog posts plugged into another blog before. Didn't really know what to do about it, other than put copyright verbiage in every post. I suspect I've been hijacked again, since some blogger I don't know asked me to e-mail her the other day. Ugh.
How blessed you are to have Daffs-they are my absolute favorites! Enjoy your bloomin' bulbs!
Cute headder. I have a Camellia that is ready to open in a week. Great flower photos. Kathy
Your daffodils (and pansies) are beautiful. Our daffodils are also pushing up, but we have no blossoms as of yet. Considering that it is still February, that is probably a good thing.
HI! Lovely blooms! I like the sign that says "Butterflies Welcome". Did it work? :)
Oh, how beautiful! If you need some white color for your garden, let me know - I have white fluffy stuff! Snow is its name!
I looked at your pictures, Darla. They don't have your name. Maybe that is why someone thinks it's easy to steal them. Shame on them!
Your February Gold daffs look wonderful. Love Erlicheer!!
I am ready for spring. I am so excited. I am gonna plant a strawberry bed this year in my raised bed. Your pics are gorgeous as always.
You have two things I always wish I could have...daffodils and camellias!!! I need to go north just far enough to see camillias...I know they are in central Florida anyway!
Have a wonderful weekend Darla!!!
First of all, I thought I had 'follow'-ed you before but apparently it didn't take. So now I will get your feeds. Phew. I do enjoy your blog so much.
Second, that is disturbing about your blog post/s being lifted. Shame on whoever did that.
Third, but maybe shoulda been first, I love your photos and proof that spring is on the horizon.
Last, I think I need to get some camellias, yours are so gorgeous.
I'm so ready for spring, especially after seeing so many flowers blooming in your garden. I thought we were getting close but I had a feeling we'd get more winter, and we did. Snow and freezing temps :(
Thanks again for letting me know about the blog posts. I just don't get some people.
You have bees already? We only have crows at present!
I can't see anyone stealing my content. It's such a bunch of crap. Still, it does mean that yours must be of worth!!!
Your blooms look lovely. I'm curious about the blog thief... that's a nasty thing to do, isn't it????
Such beauty in your garden, I fear that ours will be hidden under snow that they are predicting. We were moving along nicely..
Try setting up a Google Alert, it helps. I have content stolen all the time, and it's frustrating. But at least the Google alert will notify me.

Your spring bloom are lovely. I especially think the red camellia is gorgeous.

Your garden is looking fabulous this February Darla. Our Daffs are weeks behind yours for sure. :)
It all looks great. I have Daffy's blooming too. My camellia is in bloom also.
Sorry about your blog being taken. Sure hope you find out who & take action.
the erlicheers are gorgeous! never seen daffs like that before. it looks like y'all are a few weeks ahead of us. I saw some bees this week and was definitely nerdy-excited about it :-)
