What A Wonderful Weekend...

In the collage above, (click to enlarge) top left, Rosemary blooming. I have always had Rosemary in my gardens, this is the first time I have ever had any to bloom. Top right, all of the Daffs are either in bloom or are about to burst open. Bottom left, newly purchased Verbena. Middle, Goldfinch I photographed while doing the BYBC over the weekend. Bottom right, the first Morning Glory bloom of the season, started early in the greenhouse. She was supposed to be the Red Crimson Rambler, I'll take this delightful pink though.
The weather was just perfect this past weekend and appears to be continuing in the upcoming forecast. It really feels as if we have began an early Spring. (only time will tell)
Is your weather warming up?

Today I am Thankful for wearing flip flops in February!

Here's hoping you're having a beautiful day too!

I love your cheerful collage, Darla! You, Florida gardeners, are our gardening cheerleaders! As for me, I guess I am a black sheep - skiing in Oregon!

Lovely collage, and a great bird picture too. I also love rosemary and use it in the kitchen all the time. I am glad you are getting blooms in the garden.

Hi Darla ~ I have rosemary too, but have had it bloom only once. I wonder what the trick is?

It definitely looks like spring is happening at your place. How lucky you are to have daffs.

Happy Gardening ~ FlowerLady

Hi Darla! Your pink verbena and morning glory are so pretty. Your daffodils make me eager for spring. Mine have just a few tips coming up through the ground.Just one more month maybe.

Darla: We also had perfect weather this past weekend in south Florida. Wonderful gardening weather, isn't it? I also have Rosemary, but never saw its flowering yet. Envy you can grow Daffs there. I only tried paperwhites over the winter. Happy Gardening!

I love seeing all the spring popping up every where...my rosemary blooms too...love the little flowers...

I can take this kind of teasing all day as I sit knee deep in snow again. The winds are fast and furious but at least, not quite as bitter. Spring is on its way in a couple more months. Til then, the wood fire will keep me warm while enjoying your blooms. So happy your Rosemary blooms.

I have rosemary also others. I love to smell them. Some are just outside my back door so I smell them if I have the door open like the last few days. Nice & warm here.

It was a great weekend overall. I think many of the plants are coming along early. I just hope we don't end up with a late frost.

Couldn't have asked for a better January and February this year. I certainly think spring has come early. It will be so nice, after the past two years. I wear flip flops year-round. If it's cold, I just wear socks with them. LOL.

In Georgia it has been glorious for about a week now! Daffys, Vinca, Phlox and Hyacinth blooming here! Trees are budding too. I just hope that Mr. Jack Frost does not drop by for a visit...

My daffodils have sprouted!!! Yay, spring is almost here!
Well with the weather being what it has been I'm almost inclined to believe it IS here.
But I'm not counting my chickens yet....it IS still February.
