I've never seen a marigold change colors. Hmmm.
Congrats on your new web page! I haven't seen a marigold change colors either but you never know...
It doesn't look white to me, but it is pretty!
Lookin' good!
Some hibiscuses change color...
I have my comment page fixed and your comment is there,Thanks.
I know my white daffs have to fade into white... don't know about the marigold though-enjoy:@)
I have also been surprised when a plant turns out to be different from what was expected. Fortunately the surprise is almost always a pleasant one.
Enjoyed looking at your new blog my friend, very interesting to look thru.
Both flowers look great, Darla Dear. I used to plant Marigolds here but with our long, wet springs they would always either turn to mush or get eaten by slugs before summer ever hit. Now I know better. But I still don't plant them anymore. Go figure. :) I SO glad people are frequenting your site. I'm hoping it's a total success.
I love double impatiens blooms, they remind me of roses.
Wishing you well with your website. I'm still trying to figure out how to price items and the best way to sell them.
Have a great week ~ FlowerLady
The marigold is pretty no matter what color it is. Heading to see more of your new web page.
It does not look white to me. don't you just hate when you get taken by seed/flower companies? I know I do. But even if it never turns white it is a very pretty shade of yellow.
Never saw one change either. I'm sure it is pretty. All your flowers are gorgeous.
Sure hope you are feeling much better.
Congrats on your new site. Love it.
I love the buttery color of the marigold - although I know how disappointing it can be to think you'll have one color, then the plant blooms a different color! The double impatiens are so pretty. I wish they weren't an annual!
Enjoyed looking at the different shades of marigold.
Beautiful shots! Love the colors!
Hi Darla,
I have never seen white marigolds, but your yellow one is just beautiful. The ruffled blossom looks so perfect! Thank you for stopping to visit me. Have a great day!
I've never seen one that was a true white, their always creamy shades of yellow. It's very pretty though. :)
It's a nice cream colored white. Love it!
It is a lovely bloom but certainly not white. Jean
HI Darla, Glad the school year is going well for your kids SO far....
Great flowers... Our Roses sometimes change colors as they age... Then they look like totally different flowers. I'll show you one of them next week.
Hugs,
Betsy
That is a very beautiful off white buttery yellow shade, for sure! Sweet! I am praying Daytona is free of Irenes path too!!!
That is a very pretty marigold, but certainly not white. I'm thinking someone put the wrong seeds in the wrong packet.
Your new site looks so cool~~~have a great time haggling~
funny, I have so many of the same things you do~must be a Darla thing~
Your flowers always amaze me, especially thru your hot summer.

Beautiful flowers, but yellow one really stood out.
Beautiful colors! Beautiful flowers!...Christine
Hi Darla. The double impatiens is looking pretty. They look like tiny roses when they bloom. Congrats on the new store!
Darla girl congratulations on the thriving buisness !! .. and I have yet to see a white marigold .. I like the orange and red combo ones myself .. but hey, everyone has an opinion eh ? I love that Autumn is creeping up on us girl : )
BOO!!!! hahaha

I just adore impatiens....In MI they used to grow like bushes....so pretty!
Hi Darla, Sully, Iowa, close to where I grew up, is "home of the white marigold." It was successfully hybridized by a lady there. To be quite honest, I've not seen many white marigolds and yours sure doesn't qualify as it stands...pretty anyway, though.
Beth
Pretty Marigold. I'm growing Marigold too now!
I love the double impatiens, they always remind me of rosebuds. That is a pretty marigold!
Your Impatiens looks grateful! So pretty.
Well, it may not be white but it is pretty!
*hugs*Deb
No, mine weren't white either but I do like them. I ordered some more of a different name from Burpee and and next year we shall see if it's "whiter". Since the seeds were so expensive that's why I am gifting to others. Thank you for visiting and I loved looking at your garden.
I wonder what variety that is? I have grown Snowball and another one (forget the names) and they were actually more cream colored than white, though as they aged they faded more to white. The only problem was the plants didn't flower as long as the old tried and true yellow/orange ones, so I haven't grown them for a few years. I've been growing Inca marigolds for a long time now and am always happy with them, they stand up to almost everything, except frost.
Your marigold is a lovely shade of pale yellow. Very beautiful!
Den har en smuk gul farve.
Interesting on the color changing Marigold. Love the new site and oh what fun to haggle....
Nope, I don't see white. LOL
I wish you lots of luck with your new site!!!
Hi Darla,
I like both of your blooms. I am pretty sure your marigold is not going to turn white. I've planted seeds that were not the color the package said they were going to be before.
I went to your new site, and enjoyed seeing your items. It looked like you cleaned out my house for some of them. LOL I do need to be doing that. I hope you find some folks to haggle with.
I've been following the hurricane coverage much of the day, and praying for the areas affected.
Hi Darla,
Pretty Marigold, I love the soft yellow! Hope the Hurricane didn't get close to your home!
Hugs, Ann
