Hi Darla,

I like how fungi look growing out of tree trunks. I know that they are not benefiting the trees, but their shapes are beautiful.

Hi, Darla ~ Congratulations to your silver place winner, as well! I loved your photo. My boys and I thought it was really cool!
Also, how do I put the GGW Silver winner button on my blog? I just cut and pasted it on and it doesn't link to it... Thanks! ~Amy

I am impressed. How are you feeling? I have been so about me and my trials that I haven't even asked you even though you have been in my prayers. I am thankful for the power of prayer too..

Darla, Oh, how I like this post...I am a 'shroom' nut too. There is something so fascinating about them. My handbook goes with me from spring through late, late fall.
Beautiful pictures.
The power of prayer IS calming.

Hi Darla~~ I love these photos. Mushrooms make great subjects. Last summer the sun was shining just right on some kind of fungi growing on a rotting log. My first thought was to grab my camera. Funny how we do that now in the digital age.
