This is wild moss rose that just comes up here and there. I scooped some up and put it in a container. Resembles the Ice plant, but the leaves are too wide..I think.
Back to painting.......sigh....what was I thinking?

Beautiful blooms! Don't wear yourself out painting!--Randy
Blooms look nice Darla.
I know what you mean about painting. At first it sounds like a great idea but after a while you begin to wonder why you started it in the first place.
Beautiful Hibiscus. I hate painting too... well actually I don't mind the rolling part it's the cutting in I hate. Don't work too! -Jackie
Oh Darla! Your blooms are so beautiful. Most of my flowers have been burnt to a crisp from the Phoenix sun. I miss seeing color. The only thing that has survived are my hibiscus,as they are thriving in this heat. My rose bushes keep trying, but the flowers are pretty much gone. I love looking at yours tho. Thanks for sharing them. I can't wait to see your project when you are through painting. Have a wonderful day honey. Country hugs, Sherry
Oh, I love that Hibiscus! All of your blooms are pretty. I feel your pain from the painting. I've done a lot of that in the past. You will recover! ♥ ♥ ♥
You were thinking it is going to be so awesome...once it is done:)
Hi Darla, Your flowers are all beautiful. The color on the wild moss rose is so vibrant. I love it.
Have a great week.
It will be worth it when you are done!
Hope your painting goes fast!! Do you cut your mums back? Someone told my mom to cut them back in August for a fall repeat. LOVE your Celosia. (I admit, I'm a little jealous you can grow citrus fruit!! Man on man, I would love to have a orange tree...)
Darla: Your blooms always dazzle on the screen, so nicely done.
Wow. You really have presented a show place of beautiful flowers for all of us to envy.
Thanks for stopping at my blogs and for commenting there.
Thanks for helping me to make history.

Mums blooming already, you really are far ahead of us. I was just thinking I need to plant some when they start carrying them at the nursery.
Painting is a lot of work, but I'm sure it'll be worth it when you're finished.
The grapefruit looks great. I know you will be happy to get all of the painting behind. Here is my e-mail bennieandpat@gmail.com
Thanks for the up date.

My mums have bloomed all summer which is totally strange. I can't wait to see what you have been working on
Looks nice. Your Mums may not bloom again this late in the season. I know in KY you are suppose to pinch or cut back the plant if it is about to bloom before the 4th of July. It then as enough time to bloom again in September or October. I am not sure with down here. Mine bloomed in June and thne I cut them down and they are growing back. I suppose we may have blooms in November and December. I think they bloom in summer here because they just start growing again in the fall right after you cut them. Elsewhere they don't start growing until the spring months.

Can't wait to see the results of your hardwork. Beautiful flowers
No, no - let's stay outside and enjoy your beautiful flowers! The painting can wait! lol!!
We love Jane Cowell don't we? She is so dependable. Remember Darla, we want to see that paint job when you are finished!

Painting is not really my favorite pastime, either. Love that sunflower.
Beautiful Bloomin Tueday!
Great shots as always! Love all the beautiful colors1 Jean
My mums have started too. The hibiscus is so gorgeous. Painting! Ugh! My hand does not cooperate with anything I try to do after holding a paint brush. I gave it up, didn't hurt my feelings too much though.
Look at the clumps of grapefruit! I didn't know how they grew, but that's loaded! It's amazing the tree can hold on to them.
Hi Darla~~ Ooh, that Celosia!!! Mine are finally setting buds. The hot weather has helped. If mine look half as wonderful as yours, I'll be happy. I'll post a photo soon.
girl..I would love to just relax in your garden. It is just so wonderful! Hope you are enjoying the painting....I like painting..but then I also like cleaning...so that doesn't say much for me does it? lol
thanks for being such a great force in my world
now...about the comment you left on the Dirt Princess about the crown....lol
Beautiful dragonfly! Those little guys are hard to photograph!
