Gorgeous Darla! I can't believe it's August 7th either. My daughter and her family are moving into their new house today. I'm not sure but I think they might be near you.

Yours 'messes' all look pretty good with all the textures. I especially like the sweet potato vine mess. Your grill still looks good. We just disposed of one here but before I took it away I took off the top part and plan to do something with it. Maybe a sedum garden or a pond garden. Haven't figured it out but the grills are great pots in the garden. Yours fits right in.

I wish my messes looked like your messes! :) I also wish my pear trees had held on to it's pears through one of the many wind storms that took them all off the trees.

I'm very impressed with your 'messes' -- I would like to have some messes like those in our yard. I'm also impressed with painting you're doing. The results are great.

HA Darla, your messes are perfectly wonderful! Lush gardens full of vigor. How nice that all the cutting back has resulted in so many new blooms. The Datura looks especially fab! :-)

It's a lovely mess and look at your Raspberry Blast! I didn't cut mine back and probably won't but good to know that you can. I need to fertilize mine---it really likes that and will bloom like crazy when given a good dose of MG.

Darla!!! I rooted some sweet potato vine--and it did root in two days---ahhhhh....it's a new cultivar from PW and it's bootfiul. Why I never thought of that before is beyond me. Now I'll have lots like you. I've got black and lime green.

Love your flowers, including the messy ones! White butterfly bush is more appealing to me than a blue one. All in all, very colorful garden, Darla!

I love your garden and the beautiful blooms! You would be so at home with my Benign Garden style...we are kindred spirits as Anne of Green Gables would say! I was not the nutty gardener that sent you those seeds...but they sure look like Kopper King hibiscus or a close cousin! ...Thanks for the publicity and link!
