Here's How It Looks So Far!

Here's what we have accomplished so far. When you have ceilings that are 14 feet high you get quite inventive... Here is our redneck paint brush extension. My biggiest medium kid was a huge help!!
.Looking left when you enter our bathroom...
You see the tub right away when you enter our bathroom. To the left is hubby's sink, linen closet and shower.
There are three windows around the tub. I think we have 6 windows total in the bathroom.

Before--this is also above the tub.
After (almost)
When you enter the bathroom and look right, there is my sink and the pottyroom. I forgot to photo this before I painted the trim black...before

After.. this is the potty room in the bathroom...the doors slide into the walls.
This is the entry door from the bedroom to the bathroom. After

I hope some of this made since to you. I am so tired......and not finished yet. Just wanted to give you an update so you wouldn't think I had been laying around in my high heel slippers eating expensive chocolate!

Colors are

Earthy Cane Semi-Gloss (which I think looks like butterscotch)

White Semi-Gloss

Flat Black

I can hardly wait to finish painting and decorate..........I love new fluffy towels and bath cloths!

BUT my brush gets tied to a wooden spoon...lol
can't wait to see the finished room!!! it will all be worth it in the end...I promise!

Hard work indeed! With 14 foot ceilings I can totally understand why it is so hard and taking such a long time. Beautiful bathroom.

Nice job. The colors are pretty and what a great bathroom you have. I had a similar dilema with wondering how I was going to paint my ceiling white and the walls green in my stairwell. I solved it by painting everything green - looks real good too. I had an extention for my roller and just repeatedly "bopped" the roller into the corners until it was all painted! Necessity is the mother of invention!

Unless you live out in the boondocks, I would imagine that peeping Toms would be something of a problem with so many windows. We have wrinkled glass here and tiny at that and the wife still wants the curtains closed. I have always said we should be like the Japanese and all go out on Saturday night to take a public bath. They still do that in Japan and you have a better opinion of your neighbors or I should say a more accurate visualization. It was hard for me to take all my clothes off that first time but then it is something you get used to.

I do like the bathroom and the colors and the classic windows.

Love all the big windows in the bath. It is all going to look just lovely. I have always cut out my blocks. But I saw a web page of some quilt blocks you can buy. May think about trying that.

You are perfectly following the new designer paint scheme and it looks wonderful. I really like the combo. There was just a discussion about this black trim on HGTV general decorating board. They showed pictures and even the doors were painted black. Very pretty! Nice big bathroom too.
