Bloomin' Tuesday...

It's time for Bloomin' Tuesday over at http://msgreenthumbjean.blogspot.com drop by and say 'Hi'.

Love the bright colors of these Zinnias.
Malva Zebrina

This little lady popped up between the rock garden and the driveway.
A type of moss rose, portulaca or ice plant?
Where the wild things grow!
New to me this year is a Rudbeckia I received from Ms. Doris three doors down.

Duranta Golden Dewdrop..it will make golden berries after flowering, very toxic.
Crinum
Double Althea
Zinnia
Canna
Wheelbarrow.
Zinna with Celosia

That's my contribution this Tuesday. I still haven't been able to keep up with blogging like I want to since the surgery on my elbow. It's getting there, just slow. Yes Betsy, I do need surgery on the other elbow as well. It actually hurts more than the one I just had the surgery on. Because the healing process is so slow another surgery has to be planned around family activities and certainly NOT during gardening season again!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Today I am Thankful for the healing that continues to happen in my elbow and wrist.
Good Morning Darla Sweetie...
Your gardens are just exquisite. I love the vibrant colors of your zinnias and oh my gosh what a beautiful big batch of the rose moss. It has always been one of my favorites out here in Phoenix. It loves the sun and grows so freely. Mine comes back from year to year. Very little care for it so a nice plant to have.
Your cannas are just gorgeous, and I so enjoyed seeing your beautiful colors in all the gardens. What a joy it was to wake up to this morning. Thank you so much for allowing me to stroll through your gardens.
Hope your day is a beautiful one. Country hugs sweetie...Sherry
I hope you feel better soon. Your gardens are gorgeous as always. They never fail to inspire me!
What a great variety of color and form! Wish the moss rose I had last year would have reappeared, but it was not to be, I guess.
Thankful to hear of the progress in your recovery and prayers for your next surgery....
Hi Darla, love your zinnias. I have found that I can grow them well in containers but they do not do well in the garden.
I remember pictures of the wheelbarrow soon after you planted it. What a difference:)
A couple southern bloggers commented on my site that they couldn't grow Moonbeam coreopsis. Maybe that's why it isn't easily available in your area.
The red and yellow zinnias are breathtaking. Oh and beautiful rose of sharon. Everything is beautiful Darla. My elbow gives me fits. It hurts to pick up a cup of coffee and stays swollen. Glad you are on the mend but hate to hear about your other elbow.
Don't worry about us Darla, we'll still be here. You will get there!
Look how lush & colorful your garden is right now Darla. Mine feels blah with all this heat we've had in the past 6 weeks. :)
Thanks Darla for answering my question. Sorry that it's both elbows--but you have had really good luck with this first one, haven't you????
My knee is fine now --but I'm having other problems (like being so darn tired constantly, and having severe aching in both of my legs and not being able to sleep). Think I am truly falling apart... ha
Your flowers are gorgeous... One that jumped out at me is the Double Althea. Gorgeous!!!
Hugs,
Betsy
Sorry it's so slow, but glad you are healing. I think winter is a better time for you to have surgery. Summer is too tempting for you to do yard work! Love the portulaca! I planted that in a big strawberry jar one year and it had such pretty blooms all over it.
You have so many pretty flowers blooming there that we don't see here. I love the Cannas! The Dewdrop is really pretty, I've never heard of that type before.
Take care of those elbows!
I love zinnias. And I used to grow them. I don't know why I stopped. Guess I just got too busy with the vegetable garden to keep up with the flower garden. I really need to start growing them again.
Beautiful blossoms as usual.
I hope you soon completely recover from your surgery.
