Bloomin' Tuesday...

Jean over at http://msgreenthumbjean.blogspot.com has started the Bloomin' Tuesday meme again. Drop by and see what's beginning to bloom this season.

The Hummers are back!
Purchased Foxglove.....the ones started from seed last year 'might' bloom this year.

Dianthus 'First Love' has blooms from white to pink.

Nemesia
The Ranunculus close up at night.
This is yet another color Ranunculus. The center is not open so this one does look more rose like.

Today I am Thankful for 'New Beginnings'...

Your flowers are getting me excited. I just told Mom and my sis Mel from UpNorthWithMel, that I'm anxious for my first greenhouse tour and the bareroot sales.
I have a dianthus the color of your foxglove only burgundy tinged in white. It's gorgeous and I pray it survived our indifferent winter.
Have a wonderful week

I love to watch those little hummers. Your garden is definitely awake and looking pretty. I like your rock garden! I like rocks and flowers together, too.

You already have hummers?!?! Wow! I wonder if I need to get my feeder out yet?!

Beautiful Darla. Lovin those ranuculas.

Darla were you lucky enough to find all of your rocks or did you have to purchase them?

Darla said...

Susie, yes it's time to put up Hummer feeders, usually done in March.

Becca, left over rocks from around the yard..also...neighbbor's took up their old driveway and I had the workers dump the concrete in my yard...win win...I get free stuff for the garden and they didn't have to pay to dump it.

The Dianthus is beautiful. The columbines are coming up here, which means it'll only be a short time before the hummingbirds make an appearance here as well.

It will be a while before we see hummers. When we open our picnic pavilion this year, I'm thinking of putting up at least one feeder. Our neighbors get hummers. We see them flitting back and forth between a bush near our pavilion to their back porch. Perhaps the hummers will stay a bit if we provide food too. Nice pictures of your flowers!

I saw a hummer at my feeder last Friday and so did everyone who was here visiting for the wedding! They got so excited. I'm trying to decompress and get back to my normal routine, but it's not easy.

Thanks for reminding me to feed the hummers. Your flowers are getting an early start and looking good. I like those foxgloves.

Hey Girlie, Your blooms are SO pretty... Our Crocuses are still blooming --even after the cold and snowy day yesterday. They close up at nights also.

I can't wait 'til we have more color up here...

Have a great Tuesday..
Hugs,
Betsy

I love foxgloves but here, they are a high maintenance plant. Bought a couple last fall that should bloom this year (I hope).

I haven't seen a hummer at the feeder for awhile, I think the Anna's must move on and now we wait for the Rufous.
Your flowers all look very pretty. I really like the Dianthus.

Your Foxglove are backwards in color from mine. I also am hoping the seeds I planted last year will actually bloom this year.

Glad to see the hummers are back.

Your spring is certainly more advanced than ours, but we're catching up now! I love those ranunculus, but are you sure they aren't poppies? They look so much alike!

Hi Darla,
I read this post yesterday, but couldn't remember if I'd left a comment. I see I didn't here, but now, I'm wondering if I left one on another post and included this post in it. I do that sometimes.

Well, your blooms are looking good. Dianthus is one that grows well here.

That hummer is pretty, too.
