Beautiful, Darla! You should win, or at least have as good a chance as anyone with this sweet bud!

Great photo, Darla. I love macro photography. We can see details so much better than with the eye alone.

Beautiful shot...every little hair, every little pore. Makes me wish we could grow these big, ruffled ranunculus well in Western WA. Sigh.

Great entry and Good Luck! What an awesome surprise to find a peacock in your yard! I once went outside to find a Longhorn Cow in my garden! A few minutes later several cowboys on horses trying to round up the big fella! I thought for a minute we were back living in Texas! What an exciting thing that was but I would much rather have beautiful peacocks…

I am thankful for the little surprises that I spot in my gardens…

You did a wonderful job of capturing the theme of awakening. Hopefully you'll see much more awakening in the days ahead.

A true winner, dear Darla! The ranunculus are so beautiful, annuals here but the flowers are irresistable. How funny about the peacock, just showed up! Good work with the camera, chasing him through the woods! LOL It was Gail. :-)
