What a beauty of a clematis. I have trouble keeping them so Maybe, it's me. My sis and brother both have great success with them...go figure.
We finally got another 1/32nds of an inch of rain late last night., then a bright waning moon.
Have a Grand day.

In our climate it is always a joy that the clematis didn't freeze out. My two are alive again this year but they are sure slow to start.

Gotta love those clematis.

Good morning Darla. I have tried several clematis on smaller trees here and none ever bloomed. I wonder if it is the difference in the light. In Florida, your light is probably stronger even in partial shade situations.

Seeing your lovely clematis bloom reminds me that I'm way past due for pruning my type III plants... thanks for the reminder! Larry

Darla, you're so sweet :) That does look just like the one blooming here. Thanks for posting the tag.
It looks really pretty growing up in the tree. That's something I've always wanted to try doing.

Hi Darla Dear~~ I saw Catherine's post. I told her this Clem reminded me of C. sieboldii but no, it's Miss Bateman all right. And what a classy lady she is. Great idea having her frolic through the Myrtle. I've got a small flowered Clem wending its way up mine now.
