Racquel over at http://perennialgardener.wordpress.com has tagged me to reveal 7 things about myself that you may not know. The rules : link back to the person that tagged you. Post 7 things about yourself. Tag 7 other bloggers.
1. I LOVE paint!
2. I love original ideas and am not much of a follower.
3. I love 'alone' time.
4. I prefer to spend time with people older than myself----the wisdom can be so life changing.
5. I want to write a book some day. (that would mean sitting still, so, I don't know)
6. I startle easily. (why my husband will not let me have a gun)
7. I never turn down seeds!!
I cannot bring myself to tag 7 bloggers. So, if you decide to play this tag, please let me know. I would love to learn a little more about you! (it's raining again)

Thanks for sharing some tidbits about yourself Darla. I'm glad you decided to play along. It's fun to get to know more about other bloggers isn't it! I promise never to sneak up on you, ok? :)
Interesting little tidbits Darla. Older people are wonderful. You can learn alot by listening to them.
Oh we sound so much alike. I cannot sit still either.
What type of book? An original one I am sure:)
I am old, so thank you Darla for shearing your time with me. You are a sweet blogger friend. LOL
Happy Wednesday
Patsy
I had to laugh at that one about your husband not letting you have a gun Darla!
Darla: What a neat list about yourself.
I can relate to each and every one. Well, except for the startling thing. I am USUALLY pretty under control.
BUT....I have a remedy for you. Make sure you keep your gun pointing down. Then if you get startled and accidentally pull the trigger, you will shoot the ground. Just make sure to keep your toes outta the way!
Love knowing you better. I have always loved the wisdom gained from older people. Great post and thanks for sharing.
If you write a book, I better get an autographed copy! I would love to read it!
Wonderful little snippets of info about you, Darla! I can see that you never turn down seeds!
Darla, dictate your book on tape and I'll sit still to transcribe for you...I love to type!! And I love 'alone' time too ;)
Lynn
Never, ever turn down seeds! lol.
These were fun to read Darla! I'm like you that I love my "alone" time and also hanging out w/ people older than myself. You're right about how much you can learn.
P.S. LOL at Patsy's comment!! :-)
Well, I think I've learned you like paint from some of your posts :) I also love 'alone' time.
These posts have been fun to read, it's nice to learn more about you.
Hey Girlie, I hate to tell you ---but most of the things you mentioned, I (we) already knew about you.... SO---do it again and tell us some things we DON'T know!!!! ha ha
You have so much energy... I'd love to see you write a book---but getting you to sit still long enough may be hard!!!! ha
Great post.
Hugs,
Betsy
I love it!!! Darla...the first day was hectic!!! I still did not get around to answering your email...although I will...we have hockey school and conditioning this week and next..and it is a gong show here...
Today I had to let bumble bee go back to my sister..he drew blood biting the dog...then he bit my face, attacked my kids and one down the street. He is not a cat for kids...dogs or humans...he is a farm cat and I do hope she will take him back where she stole him from...those people will give him a better home than anyone in town can!
I am trying to organize my house...keep up with the gardens...and it is a heat wave here ...record breaking temps...it was 31C here today...hot for us!
I will be in touch later tonight!
And we all think you are absolutely awesome ;)
I've always wanted to write a book, too, Darla, but I can't seem to get past page one:) I think blogging has given us all a chance to get our feet a little wet in the world of writing.
I haven't visited in awhile; love your new mailbox with the dragonflies and butterflies!
When I read your list, I thought, "Now why didn't I make a neat, concise list like that, easily read?" I almost went back and made 7-word sentences for me meme, but it was already set up to publish after midnight, and it was a laborious work.
Well, I agree with Betsy! We knew all of that except the part about no guns for you.
