I've never seen a pine cone ginger lily. That is really neat looking.
It is gorgeous. My blogging friend Lola sent me one and while it formed its head it did not have time to turn orange. It did not come back this year. Ms. Doris has a lovely garden. I always enjoy your posts featuring it.
Mrs. Doris sure has a great yard! I wish I had neighbors with a green thumb.
Lovely flowers! I've only seen these pinecone gingers at botanical gardens. gail
Beautiful pinecone ginger!!! I love seeing that one!
I have not seen a pine cone ginger lily before...
I am always amazed at the handiwork of our Master Designer!
All three are beautiful!
That pinecone is neat.
Four snakes in one week!!!! I hope they will be going into hibernation soon.
I have never seen a pinecone ginger lily before either! It is simply stunning and I am going to see if I can find one for Pine Hollow next year. I know I will have to overwinter it in the house but it would be worth it.
All of your blooms this tuesday are gorgeous! Snakes!!!! Yikes, I would scream and run in the house - are they poisonous too?
Love the pinecone lily and the hibiscus is the prettiest color.
Please tell Miss Doris how much we love photos from her garden.

Oh these are all just beautiful. I adore that pinecone lily.
Gorgeous flowers! That's my first pine cone ginger lily to see! It sure LOOKS like a pine cone!
Four snakes! Oh no. I will have to warn my daughter about that. My grandson and I were sitting out on her back porch last Saturday morning and had a lot of fun listening to the roosters crowing in the distance. He decided to crow back at them a couple of times and sort of got them riled up. I thought it was funny, but I'm not sure what the neighbors thought!
Darla: Beautiful photos from the neighbor.
Thanks for the beautiful flowers you've given us for today.
I've also never seen a Pinecone Ginger Lily. It's really cool.
Hi Girlie, Glad you made it through House. Now I wonder if they are going to go back to the original cast of characters for him to work with?????? Hmmmmmmmm...
Love your flowers. I didn't know that there are azaleas which bloom in fall.. Neat!!!
Hugs,
Betsy
Darla the ginger lily has such a fascinating bloom and
the reblooming azalea is so pretty. And it does rebloom how great is that.Mrs. Doris has some pretty blooms in her garden.

The pine cone ginger lily is fantastic! I've never heard of them before but will deffinately be on the look out. Great photos! Jean
PS Did you see the applesauce post? It's before the Sunday Sweeties.
Hi Darla. I just love gingers. They are such spectacular plants. Hibiscus are also a must have.
I've never seen a pine cone ginger lily. Really interesting. Your hibiscus and azalea are beautiful. I'm going to miss those gorgeous blossoms come winter!
Hi Darla ~~ Is that you photographed with Bilbo a few posts back? If it is I love your smile. If it isn't, I love somebody's smile. :] No package yet but I'm on the lookout. Thanks again.
I love the Pine Cone Ginger Lily. The hibiscus is nice too but the lily looks almost too perfect to be real. Very cool.
Your flowers are always so pretty!
Like I said in another comment, I am getting rid of the huge flower bed in the front yard. To many flowers and weeds to keep up with.
I do want to have a few flowers in containers though. I just don't want to weed anymore since it really bothers my allergies.
I am looking forward to what beauty I can bring with containers.
You've seen Tootsie's gardens before haven't you? Wow!
Darla, your blog is wonderful, and you are a great commenter. Thanks for your kind words, I appreciate them very much!
All are pretty, but really like the Pinecone Ginger Lily. So unusual.
Interesting plants! Thx for sharing!
