Wednesday Words...

For more Wednesday Words or to join go see Jen at http://muddybootdreams.blogspot.com I got so tickled at this little Butterfly floating around the pool yesterday. I do love the Morning Glory with the BES Vine.
Our youngest medium kid is trying to save all the Monarch Caterpillars...(I have created a monster) She's in the garden before daylight with a flashlight cutting more stems for them to eat.
We are very interested to see if we have a Queen here. See more black on the caterpillar to the right? (or not)
Still trying to improve on my T-shirts....

They really are cute on...
Don't forget the silver sparkles on them...

Still waiting on Bilbo!

Firstly, Darla, these are great T-shirts! Secondly, I wish my boys could have such fun with caterpillars! And third, about a flashlight. One of our local garden gurus told a story, how someone called police when they saw a light at night in his garden. It was him, picking up bugs from his plants! He had some explanation to do to a policeman! Your kid could be a future scientist or a biologist! Thank you for your comments on my blog!

Your son's hobby with the monarchs may turn into a money maker. I daughter had a butterfly release at her wedding.

That one caterpillar does look like it has more black on it to me too! Those are great looking t-shirts.

I think it's great that youngest medium kid is interested in saving the Monarch caterpillars. Too many kids are only interested in TV and electronic games. I like the T-shirts you're making.

Your caterpillars are beautiful, perfectly plump! I must say, your daughter has taken on a worthwhile cause, can't do too much for the butterflies this year.

Hi Darla,
Great T-shirts ... very impressive! Oh, and I never thought of caterpillars as beautiful, but your photograph really shows them off to perfection.

Hope the rest of your week goes well!

Darla,
How cute that your daughter wants to save and feed the butterflies...do you have a budding butterfly gardener in your future?

I have a few turtle trinket dishes and a toad abode with a turtle on the top that might be cute in a turtle cage. If you have something special in mind, contact me and I can create something for you. Maybe a miniature turtle abode that is similar to the toad abode but really small in size.
Thanks for stopping by. :)

Nice T-shirts! I'm interested to see how the darker catapillar develops. So nice that your daughter is helping you with the butterfly project!

I love the T-shirts. Good job. It's neat that the kids are so into the catepillar/butterfly. Maybe they will be bioligist like someone else has said.

I am feeling much better - thanks for asking. Someone has said that Diane must be dancing with her daughter and the angels. I like to think that is so.

So many caterpillars! Lucky you as you'll be swimming in butterflies soon.

I love reading about your daughter out searching for caterpillars! I know my oldest would be doing the exact same thing. I think it's been so fun watching your butterfly project.
Love the t-shirts!

Darla, I love that your middle child has fallen for monarch butterflies! It's her generation that will be the ones to make sure the environment is healthy! You've done a wonderful job role modeling stewardship. Love the shirts...Is Bilbo traveling by air or sea;) gail

Love your t-shirts, Darla. They look pretty darn good to me.. You don't want them too perfect--or they wouldn't be special!!!!!

Like the little butterfly in the pool... Cute... The flowers as usual are gorgeous. And you are going to have to invite the Monarch Butterflies into your home once they ALL become butterflies... ha

Hugs,
Betsy

Wonderful that your daughter is helping out the wildlife, I wish that we had anything like that here.

Why don't you check out Etsy, those t shirts are so cute, and I bet there is a market for them.

your t-shirts are great! I remember making them in school...and I think I still have one in a keepsake box somewhere!
I had someone investigate me in my garden on year. I was out in the beds late at night with a flashlight picking the slugs to save my flowers from becoming a snack! the cops laughed at me ...said I was "unique"!

The tshirts are really cute. Looks like a fun project. My daughter made tie dye shirts at school and had a blast, I bet she would love making something with words and glitter. BTW, thanks for stopping by my blog. Stop back by sometime.
