It's time to Flaunt those flowers inside or out over at http://tootsietime.blogspot.com/
Peach Tree is starting to bud. We are hoping that the very cold winter that we experienced will help the peach trees.

I'm excited to see the ranunuculus too. They are very neat. Have a great weekend Darla.
Oh Darla, what beauties you show! That daff is to die for. We have tried the ranunculus here without success. They can be purchased potted, this month usually, but will quickly fade as the heat returns. They could be grown as bulbs, or whatever those crazy looking things are called, planted in the fall where we lived in southern California. Just too tropical for most of the US maybe. We look forward to seeing yours, the flowers are fabulous. :-)

So pretty! I can't wait until my daffodils start blooming. It won't be long though. It's supposed to be in the 60's here for most of next week. But it's supposed to rain most of those days. But that's ok. It'll be WARM!
Love the daffodil picture! :D
Darla, it's nice to see your flowers! Makes me think it will eventually be Spring time again!
Darla: You look like Spring and I wait for the snow to melt. Love all your flowers.
What a nice selection of blooms you've selected.
I'll be waiting to see the Ranunculus bloom. As you say, not many people grow them. Love that daffodil!
Marnie
The ranunculus you mentioned doesn't do well here.
Went back to work yesterday. We have some beautiful blooming geraniums. That's about it for right now.
Nice! It's great to see some life coming to the world again. That daffodil looks great. Good luck with your peaches, my parents get fruit each year but don't spray then some borer gets them. I don't think they've gotten a single edible peach from their trees. It should be a good year for them though!
Hope you enjoy the lavender. I did grow it this pass summer. It took for ever to dry. Just a litte happy thing for you to smell.

Isn't this time of year exciting? So much to look forward to. :)
This weekend is supposed to be gorgeous, so I know where you will be!
I absolutely love seeing the first buds form on a newly plant and ranunculus are just so beautiful!
I love your photos! Also, your new header is really pretty. All the buds are a welcoming sign. :)
I just saw ranunculus at a nursery here and it reminded me of how pretty they are. They've never come back for me, but I do love them. I bet they'll do great in your yard.
I hope you have lots of peaches, I've also heard the cold is good for helping them set fruit. You should have lots if that's true :)
Don't you just love the sound of the birds singing?!
I love ranunculus. They bloom here even when it snows. Last year I bought a couple at the nursery and planted in March ~ they seemed to take a pretty hard freeze in stride. I am skeptical that they will return this year tho?? I guess we'll see.
Nice blooms for the first Friday in March!
All so gorgeous!!! Can you eat Bronze Fennel?????
You have a lovely blog and your photos are wonderful. Thank you for your comment on my blog. The flowering of my orchids came to as a complete surprise for my Husband and I. We have bought orchids in the past and they did not do so well. One was a gift and the other was about to be toss in the trash by a friend, that was the purple one and what a great rescue. They get indirect sunlight and once we saw them putting out flower buds we started to feed them Orchid food by Schultz. It is a water soluble. This was there first bloom for us and I really hope that they will continue to give us blooms. Thanks again for your visit and have a great day.
Your gardne is "awakening" too! Love Daffodils, your's is especially gorgeous.
*hugs*deb
The persian buttercups/Ranunculus are rather expensive. But soooo beautiful. We sell them around here by the wagonfulls.
And Darla, I just happened to get tons of photos of them the other day at my fav nursery.
I had one photo on a blog post the other day, it is a white with pink stiping, next to a pinkish hellebore.
Love them, totally love them. Francis is so right though, they are a cool weather springy kind of plant. They wilt in the heat, just like I do.
Jen
I planted rannuculas last year and they never even hinted about coming up. You sure have some beauties to show. I'm sure the peach tree will be gorgeous in full bloom.
I wish we had something blooming here outside. for now I will enjoy your blooms.
Blessings!
Gwen
Your daffodil is so spring-like. You're lucky to be able to grow them. Hopefully the weather will warm up soon.
such beautiful pictures...thanks for taking us into your garden today
Your garden is some weeks ahead of ours. Our crocus bulbs just popped up this week. So glad to see them! Your garden pictures give me something to look forward to. Daffodils soon!! :) ~~Rhonda
HI Darla, love yr header photo. So cheery! Wonderful to walk around the garden and see new growth - your garden will be looking real colourful soon.
Happy weekend, Ev
wow great pictures! thank you for stopping by my blog! im sure glad you did...what a wonderful blog you have..well done!
Ranunculus is gorgeous but I don't think it does well here in NC. Beautiful daffodil picture!
Thanks for sharing these views of Spring. Your pictures give me hope that Spring will actually get here. We've had sunshine for two days in a row now, which I think is a record for this year!
Oh yes, I'm hearing bird songs too! And some chickadees are investigating one of my birdhouses, so I just know it's that time we've all been waiting for. I don't know why there's not more about ranunculus out there. I've never tried it myself. It looks like something that wouldn't do so well here but I'm anxious to see how it does for you.
Wow--Spring is really coming to Florida... Maybe that means that it will come here soon!!!! Our Crocuses and Daffodils are poking up out of the ground --but that's as far as they've come so far!!!!! We'll just wait..
That last picture is fabulous. We have that big Daffodil in our yard too ---or rather, we WILL..... (Sometime)!!!
Have a great weekend.
Hugs,
Betsy
Loved seeing the sneak previews of your plants and flowers. I have a nectarine tree, and it's full of flowering buds. We live in warmer weather I guess. :-)
What wonderful signs of spring you have, wish I could say that about where I live. Tonight it is so foggy you can't see across the street, which is ok since all you can see is freezing rain!
Now you have me excited to see my crocus and daffodils make their appearance! Though I think we're still weeks away in Michigan. Can't wait to see all your flower beauties this spring & summer!!
Ranunculas are so pretty. Voles ate the last I planted, so I gave up.
Could your daffodil be Scarlet Gem? Juanita is about to bloom here, but I can't remember if that's how she looks.
and the spring is popping up all over the place for you!!! this is wonderful. I don't recall you sharing a peach tree...what color do they bloom?
thanks for linking in!!! luv ya!
hey..did ya hear..? bilbo is coming to visit me finally!!!
You sure have nice pretties to show off. I know where you went. You are in that garden again - I just know it - go ahead and admit that you can't stay out. Love ya girl
