Snowflakes... these are very nice indeed Darla... they reminded me of something else and I was glad to read Leedra's comment as it was Lily of the Valley I was thinking of... net looking header as well...
I believe that Snowdrops and Snowflakes are Amaryllis...pretty sure.
Well now I'll know what they are when I see them! So pretty :-)
Certainly a different variety to what we have in the UK. I wonder if you can get bulbs here.

Darla, Your Galanthus Elwesii or Giant Snowdrop is a beauty all its own. It loves to be set apart from others to show off its distinguishing green tips on its petals and the broad blue green leaves...It sure is a beauty and you have some wonderful photos of it. I used to have these and have long been without and want them again.sad how I lost them..thanks for sharing yet another interesting Gift from God.

Hi Darla~~ I was in town the other day and saw a clump of blooming Leucojum in a tiny dirt oasis on the opposite side of a busy street. It was all I could do to keep myself from running headlong into traffic, first taking a detour to the nearest hardware store for a modest hand trowel then as stealthily as possible digging the entire clump up for ME.
I resisted. Yours are absolutely beautiful.
