Poor fella. I know better him than you LOL! He is one dedicated barbecuing man. That has to be a winner for the umbrella header.

What time is dinner. I'll be right over. Bummer in the rain but he's got an umbrella. I bet the rain only made the food all the better.

We have a similar picture of me and my father-in-law trying to grill in the pouring rain. For some reason it just didn't work out so well!

I hope you're dad is doing well!

Darla: How neat that hubby got the umbrella for his grill work. The cooking is going great.

At last rain... I understand the rain... ha!
I have done something like this many times, in fact I should think it is normal to cook in the rain when our summer barbecuing season starts...
I am impressed with you grill... these are now becoming more poular over here I am glad to say... and it seems to be the same with you that men do the cooking at barbecues. I'm sure it goes way back to the cavemen... fire, stick, food, woman.... man happy. :O)

Great posting Darla

Love to you all.

Nothing stops a man and his ability to burn meat on the barbi!

We've cooked over a camp fire in pouring rain. It isn't easy but is doable.

Great umbrella shot Darla! The food looks great too. What time should I be there? :-)

There's something awfully chivalrous about a man doing the cooking. And when he's oblivious to the rain, wow, the chicken is all the more savory. Lucky gal, Darla!

What a fun photo! I bet hubby wasn't having so much fun, but he looks like he is oblivious to the rain, though. LOL
