It is gorgeous. My blogging friend Lola sent me one and while it formed its head it did not have time to turn orange. It did not come back this year. Ms. Doris has a lovely garden. I always enjoy your posts featuring it.

I have never seen a pinecone ginger lily before either! It is simply stunning and I am going to see if I can find one for Pine Hollow next year. I know I will have to overwinter it in the house but it would be worth it.

All of your blooms this tuesday are gorgeous! Snakes!!!! Yikes, I would scream and run in the house - are they poisonous too?

Love the pinecone lily and the hibiscus is the prettiest color.

Please tell Miss Doris how much we love photos from her garden.

Four snakes! Oh no. I will have to warn my daughter about that. My grandson and I were sitting out on her back porch last Saturday morning and had a lot of fun listening to the roosters crowing in the distance. He decided to crow back at them a couple of times and sort of got them riled up. I thought it was funny, but I'm not sure what the neighbors thought!

Hi Darla ~~ Is that you photographed with Bilbo a few posts back? If it is I love your smile. If it isn't, I love somebody's smile. :] No package yet but I'm on the lookout. Thanks again.

I love the Pine Cone Ginger Lily. The hibiscus is nice too but the lily looks almost too perfect to be real. Very cool.

Your flowers are always so pretty!

Like I said in another comment, I am getting rid of the huge flower bed in the front yard. To many flowers and weeds to keep up with.

I do want to have a few flowers in containers though. I just don't want to weed anymore since it really bothers my allergies.

I am looking forward to what beauty I can bring with containers.

You've seen Tootsie's gardens before haven't you? Wow!
