Fertilizer Friday and !!

It's the last Fertilizer Friday of Summer.......not the last Fertilizer Friday for me quite yet. Run on over to http://tootsietime.blogspot.com and see what's still being fertilized!
Random shots as I am preparing desserts and dinner for our oldest medium kid's birthday today!!!
First and foremost.........GAIL at http://clayandlimestone.blogspot.com got me hooked on Phlox...So Gail..........look!!!! Phlox-Nikki
Organized confusion...
and
more organized confusion..
Jacobina is blooming again
My seeds are sprouting........
Whoo Hoo.....I'll tell you more about them as they grow bigger..
Really there are two Hummers in this photo
This one has rain droplets on it's back....they might enlarge
AND the youngest medium kid and I did it!! We helped a Monarch egg turn into a caterpillar in a sandwich container with a moist paper towel....
Thanks for the concern of me not feeling to well. We were unsure if I had Bells Palsy or the Shingles. The left side of my face has been acting retarded here lately. I now have a small lesion on the inside of my cheek right where the nerves and muscles were going crazy and numb. The Dr. believes that it was an infection manifesting itself this way. Started antibiotics today..they will not give me the flu shot until we see if this is the problem. Regardless, he said it was brought on by stress...........geez! I do pray and ask that you will as well for the antibiotics to work. They should, I have not had to be on antibiotics in years..
Have a great, glorious, God loving weekend!

Love visiting your blog - such beautiful plants and flowers. There is one in particular, the second photo, that I would like to know if you could share the name of the plants. One is the tall deep red plant and th other is the very light green plant next to it.
I sure would appreciate knowing what these are and thank you so much.

Who are you anonymous, you know you can leave your name? Tall deep red on the right is a Sun loving Coleus--Oxblood. The light green plant is an ornamental potato vine. Thanks for your interest.

Wow.....my guess would be shingles. I have had it before, it is definitely stress induced. I hope it goes away soon!Your yard still looks great. I desperately need to work in mine this weekend, but it doesn't look like that is going to happen....it is supposed to rain...imagin that! It has rained here everyday for about 3 weeks now. So needless to say the weeds, and the flowers are outta control!

Just cut out the stress! That's what a doctor told me once. They tell you that, and give you no knowledge on how to DEAL with stress. If I cut it out, I would have had to leave my husband and five kids:)
Love you organized confusion:) My motto, both good and bad:)
Take care, and keep blooming:)

I sure hope you don't have shingles. I personally know 4 people that have come down with it in the last 6 months :( Your yard is beautiful as always. Can't wait to find out more about the seedlings.

I'm so sorry Darla! I will say a prayer for the antibiotics to do their job. Feel better and get some rest!

Happy Birthday to your medium kid!
Great hummingbird pictures. How lucky to get two together. The ones around here chase each other off.
I hope you're feeling better soon!

Love the organized confusion Darla. Looks great to me.

Hope you continue to feel better. It seems like shingles and Bells Palsey go hand-n-hand. My mom suffered from both last year.

Your yard and flowers are gorgeous, as usual, but don't work too hard keeping them perfect. Maybe you need at take a break and put your feet up and just rest. Wishing you a restful weekend.

Darla, you have got to slow down. My daughter has told me this all week. I hope the meds work. I have heard that shingles are very painful. I will pray for you. I have a request for you to pray for. We have spend most of today in the emergency room with my sweet honey. 6 hours later we find out he has a kidney stone. I have never saw him in pain like this. They have him drugged right now. If you don't mind, please keep in him in your prayers as we pray for you also. Love ya!

I think it's neat that you (youngest Medium Kid) were able to coax an egg into becoming a Monarch caterpillar. I look forward to learning more about those sprouting seeds in the days ahead.
