Wednesday Words...

A few weeks ago I entered a Give-A-Way over at http://tootsietime.blogspot.com for some Rooster Cups. I did not win, although she was sweet enough to have a second place gift. That one I won. (Probably better than the 1st place)
Here is my package, all the way from Canada..!
I have been wanting a Crown for months now, but have not be able to find one. Well, little Ms. Tootsie makes them....Here's the opened package..
The open card ( very teary eyed at this point) the words in this card did so much to lift my spirit yesterday as I have not felt well in a couple of weeks. I was taking my time, anticipating the unveiling of the Crown.
What the heck? I pull out the top tissue and I see tissue marked, 'open', then again 'open' and again......
Just look at all of the goodies that Tootsie sent me.......I had tears running down my face at this time..I could not believe the generosity in this ladies heart....God is so good....
Recipe cards, meal planner, vanilla sachet......
adorable pinecone candles........
My very own CROWN! (made by Tootsie)
A crown hanger....
and a pie kit.
Thank you Tootsie! I have so enjoyed getting to know you through your blog and email. You will never know how much this package means to me.....I pray God's favor on you and yours.

Get on over to http://tootsietime.blogspot.com she has incredible gardens for such a short season in Canada. Also wonderful garden tips!!!!

Girl, I am so glad you got the package and that you love it. I thought of you when I saw that pie kit...you are far more interested in the cooking part of life than I am.
I do hope you enjoy all the little things I added.
That crown is not perfect, but neither am I...and if it helped brighten your day after a bit of a hard stretch-then I did my job as a friend.
You mean so much to me, and I don't think you will ever know how much.
You didn't have to post this...but it sure feels good that you did.
Your post is far more entertaining than my boring seed post for today! lol

That is so nice Darla. You deserve a crown. Can't wait to see what you do with it. Oh and all the other things she sent too - wow she sure is nice.

Tootsie you are so kind to send Darla all these pretties.

Darla I am so sorry to hear you are not feeling so good. Shingles are painful. My ex had shingles and it seemed to last for more than 2 weeks. I do hope you find out what has got you feeling bad these days. Get well soon and let us know how you are OK.

What a wonderful gift! I'm glad you are feeling better; it seems Tootsie had great timing.

I stopped by yesterday, but apparently forgot to leave a comment. I enjoyed all your blooms, but especially seeing the pineapple sage. I have just one bloom on mine and hope it will soon look as good as yours.

Hi Darla~~ All I can say is, if anyone deserves this special treatment, it's you!

I'm behind on blog reading, yet again, so I went back and read about your baby caterpillars. They really are tiny. I had no idea. And your garden photos--your paradise looks so inviting. No wonder the Monarchs have taken up residence!

Darla, I am sorry to hear you haven't been feeling well. You must be tuckered out from taking care of your sick kids.

What a wonderful package...I love your crown and is that a pie bird I see, too!

Take care, gail

Well, I just got caught up again. I'm sorry you have been sick. My parents have both had shingles, and my dad had bell's palsy. They both take awhile to recover from, but after reading you are on antibiotics, it looks like they may not think it was either of those, or do they prescribe them for those 2 conditions?

I enjoyed all your blooms and Bilbo posts, but did not comment there, because I'm too unorganized to have out of town company, other than my brother-in-law, who will be in town from Colorado this week. Knowing me, Bilbo would get stuck here, and not sent on, as I am terrible about getting things in the mail.

I am continuing to see monarchs every day, but the times I've looked for caterpillars, I haven't seen any. I'm just tickled to see the butterflies.

I love the shirts you've made! I hope the science fair projects go well. I hope to read about the results.
